Story

She is a sweet dog who was bred to be a show dog but was given up because of her slightly stubborn nature. She is territorial over her food but is otherwise a very chill and kind dog who is not very active. Enjoys short walks in the morning and the evening but otherwise just wants to cuddle on the couch. She is about 9 years old and she has been with us for 6 years. She is getting older and needs someone who can give her a bit more of a schedule. She has glaucoma and lost her eye 4 years ago but she has been fine since then. She requires eye drops 3 times a day (morning, afternoon and night) but she has gotten used to it and is very well trained to take them.

BUTCH IS an 11 yr old, male, Neutered, vaccinated PitMix. He was a PETS4LUV rescue that was adopted by his current family 7 years ago. They are now moving and NOT TAKING HIM WITH THEM....AND said that they are going to surrender him to the Town shelter if we don't find him a new home. Butch was a Volunteer favorite at the rescue. He is a great dog! But he is reactive around other dogs, so needs to be the only pet in the home. He is not cat tested but it would be best in a home with either no cats, or cats in a completely separate area from him. An 11 yr old PitMix, reactive to other dogs will not do well in a Shelter. WE MUST FIND HIM A HOME ASAP! The family was supposed to move last week, but there is a delay in their closing, so we have a VERY FEW COUPLE OF DAYS to find him a home! ##2142801##

Foxy is a senior girl 10+ who is in search of a foster to forever home to live out the rest of her years. As per her current foster mom, She loves to hang in the garden, lay in the sun, and nap at your feet. She’s not clingy and does not require cuddling, as she is quite the independent woman. She has no issues with separation anxiety and would be okay with a human who worked outside the home. Cats unknown at this time, but she can be cat tested if need be. She would do best in a peaceful home-maybe with another senior like her, or a mature adult singleton/couple. No children under 15 due to her size/lack of exposure and some visual impairment. If you’re looking for a companion to watch TV with, listen to the radio with , work in the yard or read with, she’s your girl!
