Story
Hi, I'm Mia! I’m thrilled to have joined the Underdog family on May 4th! I was picked up by the City shelter in early April, and while I enjoyed doggy playgroup, being in a home is so much better! My DNA test shows that I’m 51% Rottweiler, 25% Boerboel, and 24% Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff), and I have a soft, velvety coat that’s as beautiful as it is cuddly. I’m about 55 lbs and was given a birthday of 10/5/22. I’ve already completed a 4-session training course for adolescent dogs, and I’m currently working through another one—I love learning new things! I walk well on a leash, know sit, paw, and lie down, and I’m fully housebroken. I sleep through the night, either in my crate or outside it, and I often retreat there just to relax. Playing fetch is one of my favorite things to do (especially in the snow!), and I’ve even been known to fall asleep with a ball in my mouth. I love to go on runs with my foster mom a few times a week. I am super playful so I’d be thrilled to have another dog to play with in my forever home!!   If you’re looking for an active, loving companion, apply to meet me at www.buffalounderdogs.com! ##2051701##

Story
I'm Molly, a 1-year-old pitty mix looking for my forever home. I am 65 lbs, already spayed and fully vetted.  I'm fully housebroken, crate-trained, and get along well with other dogs and cats, although a proper meet and greet is required. I love kids and adults too. I'm an active, well-behaved companion.  I enjoy swimming, playing fetch, cuddling, and going for car rides. I'm also excelling in obedience classes. I'm seeking a loving home that enjoys staying active and can provide me with structure. If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application  at www.buffalounderdogs.com.  ##1710051##

Story
Mabel, a 5-year-old puppy mill survivor, is ready to find her forever family. After enduring a tough start, she has blossomed into a loving and gentle companion. Mabel's journey to healing has been made possible with the unwavering support of her bonded beagle sibling, Petals. These two adorable dogs are a package deal, as they share an unbreakable bond that has helped them navigate their world. Mabel and Petals were recently returned to the rescue through no fault of their own. Their previous human, facing unfortunate hardships, had to make the heartbreaking decision to part ways with them. Mabel thrives in the company of other dogs, and having Petals by her side brings out the best in her. They both enjoy playtime, cuddles, and the simple joy of being together. Mabel and Petals are looking for a loving family that can provide them with the stability and affection they deserve. If you have room in your heart and home for this wonderful duo, Mabel and Petals will reward you with endless love and companionship. Help them find the forever home they've been dreaming of. Adopt Mabel and Petals today!

Story
Hi I’m Eggo!  I am a big 2yo pit bull mix and since being in a home where i can relax and learn how to be a pup i have put a couple pounds on and I was 76 pounds at my last vet visit.  I am looking so handsome and my coat is shining. I am very gentle and relaxed most of the time but do like to play with my more energetic foster siblings. I mostly like to bring them a toy as a peace offering so they will stop fighting over the same bone, then typically i’ll curl up with one of my many fleece throw blankets. I am also living with a senior dog being the smart boy i am  i just let her take her naps in peace like the queen she is.    sometimes when people come up to the fence i do let them know i am there with a bark or two, who else is going to let mom know amazon is here!!! But for the most part i let everyone else roam the neighborhood without yelling at them.    I love fresh fruits and veggies especially peas and carrots and the occasional blueberry or strawberry. i’m not very picky though i would eat mostly anything!   I am potty and crate trained. I will whine and bark  for a  minute when first crated but i calm down fairly quickly. I have been sleeping outside of my crate and haven’t had any issues (i really don’t leave the end of the bed once the lights are out). we are currently learning on how to walk on a leash right now (i’m a lot stronger than i think i am and just get really excited to adventure) i am a fast learner especially when there are treats involved. i do know sit and we are working on some other commands as well.     you see when i came to the buffalo animal shelter i wasn’t in the best shape, i was pretty underweight and i had some bad skin issues. i did also have surgery to correct a condition i had called cherry eye and i was such a good boy about wearing my cone the whole time even though my foster mom would giggle at how goofy i looked.  it appears that i may have lived  through some not so great times, that has never stopped me from being the gentle giant i am, all i want is to give kisses and snuggles to my people and friends. If you think id fit right in, apply at www.buffalounderdogs.com  ##2161595##

Story
Im Mama Autumn! Im about 2 years old and 36 lbs. They think im a pittie hound  mix. I came all the way to Buffalo from Texas in search of my forever family. Im the most goodest girl you would ever meet! Im a super mellow girl that loves to chill and hang out at home. I also absolutely LOVE to snuggle with my humans! My foster mom says Im pretty quiet and low key. Im a good listener and just want to please. I love playing with my toys and with my smaller foster dog siblings. I get nervous around big dogs though so I think I’ll do better with smaller dogs in the home. Oh yeah! I have a cat brother too! i just ignore hime for the most part he doesn’t interest me much. Im also great with small kids.  If I sound like a totally awesome girl for you, fill out an application for me! To apply, visit www.buffalounderdogs.com   ##2073714##
