He is an incredibly affectionate dog who wants to be close to his humans at all times. He’s also good with a variety of other dogs. At this time, he has not been around cats or children. He needs to gain some confidence, but with some love from his new foster family, we think he is going to be a great dog!! More info to follow on this sweetheart as he settles into his home and undergoes treatment for heart worm. Story
Please meet sweet and joyful Hollie! Hollie is looking for a low-key home with other dogs. She loves people and attention and enjoys leisurely walks. Hollie is a calm, low energy dog and much prefers to relax on the couch. Since she was a breeder dog for a puppy mill, she needs a patient family who will give her time to become familiar with her new home and routine. She is a little shy to begin with but once she knows you, you have a friend for life. Hollie gains confidence quicker when she has another dog to follow around and learn from. Hollie is good with cats and children and once adjusted, she is an easy and happy girl. Does Hollie sound like a good fit for your family? If so and you would like to know more about Hollie or one of our other rescue dogs please visit our website https://www.joshuafundrescue.org/adoptioninfo and fill out an application form. Story
Please meet beautiful Mabel! She has had a busy week with vet visits for a wellness check, vaccines and to be spayed (hence the very stylish vest). Mabel has handled it all like a champ and she is loving all the attention and snuggles, especially from her foster dad!! Mabel is getting along great with her fur siblings and before her surgery, she enjoyed running and playing with her new toys. Mabel is approximating 8 months old, weighs 61 lbs and does well in the car, walks great on a leash and is crate trained. Foster mom said that Mabel is as quiet as a little mouse when she is in her crate. Mabel will make an excellent addition to any family and we are currently accepting applications for this amazing little girl!! Story
Introducing Dallas!! This gorgeous little boy is only 7 months old so he is still learning how this big old world works, but we are so proud of his progress so far!! Dallas loves to swim, wrestle with his foster sibling Molly, play fetch and love on his foster mom and dad’s grandkids!!! He is a super social little fella with a huge personality!! He has already picked up basic commands such as sit and stay, he knows to go potty outside and he sleeps nicely on his bed next to foster mom. In typical lab fashion stuffed toys don’t last long around Dallas, but when he isn’t having fun, he loves to curl up at your feet and snooze. He is an all-around great dog who will be a wonderful addition to any family.
