Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tiny is ready for her new home!  She is an 8 year old English Bulldog and is a not so tiny 60 pounds! Tiny came to us when her family was no longer able to care for her and her sister.   Tiny embodies the quintessential characteristics of her breed - she's delightfully lazy, remarkably stubborn, and undeniably bossy, if given the chance! Despite these quirks, she has a heart of gold and is incredibly affectionate. There's one thing that truly gets her excited - her treats, especially when it's cheese time in her foster home!  One look at Tiny's face when it's time for a walk or a car ride, and you'll see pure joy. She loves getting baths and jumps into the tub, sitting patiently as she gets scrubbed up, relishing her very own spa day. Tiny is nicely crate trained and goes right in when asked.  She is also house trained, although she may need a gentle nudge in the morning due to her reluctance to rise and shine. Unfortunately, Tiny has a strong dislike for cats and will not hesitate to chase them, so a feline-free home is a must. As for other dogs, she generally gets along with them, except for the more boisterous types. It is on her terms, so an owner who is familiar with bullies would be ideal. Tiny is great with kids, but she can't handle the energy of very young children. Therefore, we believe that kids in her new home should be at least 12 years old. If you have small children visiting, she will gladly take a nap in her crate while they are there!  Tiny came to us with some skin and ear/eye infections, which is very typical for English Bulldogs (EBDs). Her food was immediately switched to a fish-based diet and that has been a great help. She cannot have chicken or lamb. Her skin is still healing but with consistent bathing and time, it will be fine. Tiny also had a fatty mass (it was tested!). Tiny is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $500Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:29 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Roxy is available for adoption!  She is an adorable Chiweenie, 8 years old and 12 pounds.  Roxy came to us from Texas with her sister.  They were dumped in the streets with nowhere to go! Roxy is a sweet little dog.  She is crate trained and often goes in her crate to nap during the day.  She is learning to walk on a leash and doing well!  She may need a little encouragement at first, but she is fine once she gets going.  She is very food motivated and that helps her on her walks!  Roxy is good with other dogs.  She may chase a cat if she sees one though lol.  We haven't had her around kids but we do not think it will be an issue if they are respectful.  She is doing well with her housetraining but please expect some adjustment time as she learns a new home and routine.  When she isn't napping, Roxy follows her foster mom all over but her favorite room is the kitchen when it's mealtime!  Roxy is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She also had a dental since she arrived.  Her adoption fee is $400Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:29 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sundance is available for adoption.  He is a beagle mix, 2 years old and 17 pounds. Awwwwoooo. Sundance loves to sing the song of his Beagle people. You'll here it sung a few times a day especially at dinner. Food happens to be a favorite hobby of his. Cheese and baby carrots are his go-to choices but he'd be happy with anything and that can mean sneaking his pal's kibble too so you need to be a bit of a watch dog for this high spirited hound.   In true Beagle fashion he thinks personal boundaries are nonsense. Your shoes and holiday decorations could look like fun toys to our boy, if he gets left alone or bored when you have the audacity to have something else to do but lavish attention on him. He's not a fan of being crated and would definitely balk at that but having a room with a gate where he can spend time when you're out will be ideal.   Once those formalities are taken care of it's pretty clear sailing with Mr. Sundance. He loves other dogs and playing chase and tug with them. He's full of energy, potty trained and loves to spend time outside when the weather is nice . Having a canine buddy and a fenced yard would be his idea of the perfect forever home. He's okay with walking on a leash but at present it's not really one of his favorites so you might have to help him over a threshold or two. He's kitty-friendly and will try to get them to join the fun. The kitty will be the winner of those negotiations.  Sundance is great guy and he'll definitely be the Snoopy to your Charlie Brown! Sundance is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $450    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 3:47 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet as her name, Strawberry is ready for her new home!  Strawberry is a 2 year old Shiba Inu that was recently released from a breeder.     Strawberry is a beautiful girl! She is smart and is already adjusting well to her foster home. She loves being outside and is eager to explore the yard or relax in the fall sunshine. Strawberry gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another dog for companionship and learning.   She is making good progress with her housetraining and has had only a few accidents. Although she is not yet leash trained, she is working on it. At this stage, she will need a fully fenced yard. Strawberry is very intelligent and is curious about what lies beyond the gate and door.    She is food motivated and particularly enjoys her treats, especially cheese. Once she gets to know her people, she becomes affectionate and eager to please! Strawberry is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $500Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 3:47 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please meet Cooper, our super cute Golden Retriever puppy!  Super Cooper is 4 months old and currently weighs 40 pounds so he is going to be a BIG boy!   Meet Cooper, the lovable golden retriever who’s all about spreading joy! He adores everyone and everything, and his goofy, playful nature is sure to bring a smile to your face. As a typical puppy, he’s bursting with energy and a bit of mischief!   Cooper is crate trained but might whine a little at first. Don’t worry—once he realizes that his foster mom is not going to give in, he settles down quite nicely. He’s also working on his leash skills, but let’s just say he’s much more interested in running and playing than walking for now!   When it comes to housetraining, Cooper is making great strides, especially with his foster mom home a lot to take him outside. While he’s not fully trained yet and sometimes needs to use pee pads, he’s definitely on his way but please expect more training in his new home. He loves being outside, rain or shine, which is super helpful.   Cooper gets along famously with other dogs and is always ready for a playtime adventure! He doesn’t quite realize how big he is, so he happily plays with dogs of all sizes. He’s also good with cats, as he just wants to join in the fun! Since he’s still a puppy, he’ll need a little extra training, but with some love and guidance, he’s sure to grow into a wonderful companion!   Cooper is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $700Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 11, 2024, 11:03 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Margie, your future furry friend! This little bundle of cuteness is a petite Chihuahua, weighing in at less than 5 pounds and is about 2-3 years old.    Margie comes to us from a kind person who had a bit too many pups to care for. She’s used to being around small dogs, so having a buddy in her new home would be a bonus, but it’s not a must. As long as she’s showered with love and snuggles, she’ll be a happy little girl.    True to the Chihuahua nature, Margie adores cozying up under blankets no matter the weather. If you ever need to find her, just look for a little lump – that’s our Margie!   While she’s not leash-trained yet, she has a wonderful fenced yard in her foster home to play in. Margie does prefer using potty pads since that's what she’s used to, so just a heads-up if you’re considering welcoming her into your home. She has been around kids aged 12 and up and has been a total sweetheart, curling up in their laps and showering them with kisses!   Speaking of kisses, Margie is a pro at giving them, so if you’re looking for a loving companion, she might just be the perfect fit! She enjoys treats and is motivated by food, but honestly, her favorite thing to do is snuggle with you. If you're ready for a cuddle buddy, Margie can't wait to meet you!  Margie is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $475Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 14, 2024, 10:44 am
