Story
Honey is a sweet two year old Doberman/husky mix. Sadly, her mommy has a terminal illness and has reached out to us to find Honey the perfect forever home. Honey is spayed, up-to-date on all required vaccines, HW negative and micro chipped. Honey is sweet and affectionate but a little awkward. She just needs a little bit of training to become that perfect dog. Training her mom just hasn’t been up to lately. Honey has one beautiful blue eye and the most adorable ears I’ve ever seen. She weighs about 55 pounds. She would do well with older children that wouldn't be knocked over as well as a good natured doggy sibling. If you would like to give this cutie pie a place in your family while putting her current mom at ease, please email dogs4mylife@gmail.com or omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our information and application. Story
Hello My name is Titan, and I am roughly 8 months old. My story starts being found in a rural area hiding in a ditch with my 3 brothers. I was taken in by the rescue and my life has been good! I am the smallest of the brothers and will not be a big dog. I am all white except a cool marking around my eye and little freckles on my ears. I love people and enjoy being in your company. My foster mom said I can be a Velcro dog easy. I love going on walks and meeting new people and experiencing all the new smells. I am learning the commands , sit /come/leave it . I love getting treats for following commands but will also be happy with some loving. I think I am the smartest of all my brothers! Lol I have used a doggie door and slept on a kuranda bed. I have also slept in crate and stayed in the house all day with my foster mom. I am very flexible and smart. my favorite snack is raw carrots and squeeky toys keep me happy! Recently discovered ice cubes and peanut butter in a king. Love it I will make a wonderful family addition. Just no cats please All my vet work is done , including vaccinations, micro chipped and neutered. My fee covers transport from Tennessee

Story
Luci was rescued by a kind soul that found her by the river super skinny. She called us and we picked her up. We believe she is a purebred GSD. She is on the smaller side at just 40lbs so if you love the breed but can't handle a very large dog, Luci would be perfect. She is spayed, UTD on all required vaccines, HW tested negative and microchipped. Typical to the breed, Luci does have a prey drive so no cats or small dogs or other small pets. She loves people and gets along well with a large group of dogs here. Also, Luci is reliably housetrained. If you would like to make this beautiful and sweet girl your new family member, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our info and application. Story
Meet Mitzi – From Forgotten to Fabulous, She’s Ready for Her Fairy Tale Ending   This stunning girl is Mitzi, and while her story began with promise, it quickly turned into one of neglect and heartbreak. Originally brought into a home to 'protect chickens,' it didn’t take long for her humans to decide she wasn’t cut out for the job. Instead of being treated like the loyal companion she was meant to be, Mitzi was cast aside — left alone in an outdoor kennel, where love, comfort, and even basic care were nowhere to be found.   By just 10 months old, Mitzi was so matted and dirty that you couldn’t even tell what gender she was. She was underweight, ignored, and completely forgotten — until now.   Thanks to Critter Cavalry Rescue, Mitzi has been given a new chance at life. She’s been lovingly shaved down, bathed, vetted, and spayed. And for the first time in her young life, she’s in a foster home where she’s finally feeling what it’s like to be wanted. Her eyes are brighter, her tail wags with hope, and she’s soaking up the love and kindness like sunshine.   Now at 43 pounds, Mitzi still has some growing and filling out to do — we expect she’ll blossom into a healthy, happy 55-60 pound girl. She’s great with other dogs, friendly with every person she meets, and eager to start her new chapter. She’s never had the chance to live inside a home, but she’s learning fast — and with patience and love, she’ll become the perfect housemate in no time.   Mitzi is not just beautiful on the outside — she has a gentle, soulful spirit that’s ready to bond deeply with someone who will finally love her for who she is. No expectations. No cages. Just unconditional love and the joy of being part of a real family.   Whether you're in Tennessee or in the Northeast, Mitzi can come home to you — she’s available for local adoption and also for transport to an approved home up north.   If your heart is open to giving this sweet girl the life she’s always deserved, please reach out. Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com ask about Mitzi.   Her past is behind her — and with your love, her future could be a Cinderella story in the making.       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 21, 2025, 11:15 am

Story
Meet Henry – A Gentle Soul Ready for the Love He’s Never Known Just look at that face — the kind, hopeful eyes and the biggest, most joyful grin you’ve ever seen. That’s Henry, and he’s smiling because, at 6 years old, he just experienced his very first bath. A small thing to most dogs, but for Henry, it was a moment of love, care, and attention he had waited a lifetime to feel. It was his spa day — a celebration of a fresh start, of a life that’s finally turning a corner. Henry’s story begins back in 2019, when he was just a 6-week-old pup, full of wonder and trust. He was adopted by a family who, sadly, didn’t keep that promise of forever. He was soon discarded — left behind at a relative’s house where he lived largely ignored and forgotten. When asked if they wanted him back, the answer was chilling: “If I get him, I’ll just take him out in the field and shoot him.” But that wasn’t the end of Henry’s story. That was the beginning of his rescue. Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in, wrapping him in the care, safety, and dignity that he always deserved. And Henry? Despite the heartbreak, despite the neglect, he is still one of the sweetest, most forgiving, most loving dogs you could ever meet. His heart is big. His spirit is unbroken. And his tail still wags with hope. Henry is an Australian Shepherd mix, weighing 41 pounds — a perfect size for cuddling, road tripping, and everything in between. He’s wonderful with people, great with other dogs, and so eager to learn. He's still brushing up on house manners, but his intelligence and desire to please make him a joy to work with. He’s gentle, solid, and has a calm presence that brings peace wherever he goes. Henry has never truly had a family that saw him — not really. Not as the loyal, loving, tender-hearted companion he is. But that’s going to change. Because the right person, the right family, will see the treasure he is. They’ll see the gratitude in his eyes, the joy in his walk, the comfort in his quiet companionship. He’s ready to be your couch buddy, your walking pal, your faithful shadow. He’s the perfect age — past the puppy chaos, but with years of life and love still ahead. What he needs now is someone to show him that he’s home. For good. If you feel your heart pulling toward Henry — if you believe in second chances and forever love — please reach out. Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask about Henry. Let’s write the next chapter of Henry’s story — one filled with laughter, security, adventure, and above all, love. He’s waited a long time. Now it’s his turn         PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 19, 2025, 1:16 pm
