Meet Sid (4.4lbs)! This little guy is looking for a quieter home due to his history of seizures. He`s a friendly boy and once he gets to know you, his personality really shines. He spent a little bit of time in foster so we could gather information on how he would do in a home. His foster family described him as sweet and cuddly. He warms up fairly quickly to new people, but will be cautious when you first meet him. He`s a quiet little peanut of a man who would love a family that doesn`t mind if he just curls up in his bed and naps for a little bit. He does like short walks and seems to be doing well going potty on his pads in his room. Meet June Bug, a face-kissing fanatic! This super sweet 39-pound pup originally came to us as a transfer from a local shelter and was adopted, but came back to us when sharing space and toys with a toddler wasn`t something she was ready for. She`d do best in a home with older children who understand her excitable play style. Juney B is eager to please and knows `sit`, `down`, `paw` and even `sit pretty` (although, we aren`t super sure what her cue is for that last one, as she offers it up independently). She also loves to play with the agility equipment we have and is very good at the tunnel! Historically, June has had trouble living full time in a home with another dog. She may be ok for playdates, but she tends to become possessive over time, making it hard to share the love with her canine roomies. If you have a dog(s) already in your home, our adoptions team would set up a meet-and-greet with your resident pup in a controlled environment to see how they get along and offer advice for the future. June Bug spent a couple of weeks in a foster home with cats and she did pretty well! Want to meet June Bug and see if they’re a match for your family? Oh, hi! I didn`t see you there, but now I`d like to maybe be your friend? I`m a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, then we can have some fun together! Because I`m still pretty young, I might need some breaks to collect my calm, I do really love to play! I`ve lived with another dog before, and a school age child - and we got along pretty well, I think! I`m just a big, friendly boy who sometimes gets a little startled (I`m looking at you, birds!), but I think we can work with that boundary! I`m crate trained, so hopefully that`ll help me to settle into my new home easier. He came to us when his person sadly didn`t have enough time for him, so he`s definitely looking for someone who`s got the heart to help him learn how to be the best boy! He`s a little shy at first, so if you`re willing to let him set the pace of your meet and greet, you`ll soon find out what a bouncy goob he can be! Hi friends, I`m Godiva, like the chocolate! As you can see, the folks here named me for the color of my coat. I was found as a friendly stray in Tompkins County, and adopted by some nice folks who unfortunately had some recent life changes that meant they couldn`t have a dog anymore. I enjoy all the regular stuff; treats, toys (balls in particular), walks, and scratches! My friends describe me as `very affectionate.` In my home, I`m used to being home alone for the workday and I lived with some cats. I`ve been friendly with the other dogs and people I`ve met, although young kids make me a bit nervous. Once I`ve had my fill of playing and running for the day, I`ll probably see if you`ll let me flop into your lap.
