Story

Molly is a beautiful 4-year-old Blue Boston terrier. She came from a puppy mill in upper New York State. She is not fond of women. The background story we received on her was that the puppy mill she came from was run by a man, but he was very mean to his wife and made her do all the work. In turn she would take her frustrations out on the dogs in her care. Molly is very sweet she gets along very well with other dogs. She has not been tested with cats. Molly is reluctant to be petted by a woman when she is mingling on the floor with her foster dogs BUT when she is on the couch, which is her safe spot you can pet her and scratch her ears all you want. She needs someone who has patients and is kind and can show her the respect she deserves. Her ideal home would be with a guy who either works from home or is retired and has the patients to work with her to build her confidence in herself. She would not make a good family dog. We believe small children would scare her. Male teens would be a better fit for her as long as they have respect for animals. This decision has not come easy but with 4 children and us moving we weren’t able to find a home that was pet friendly. She’s not yet a year old and needs some training she is house trained and great with kids and other animals but she is not leash trained since we got her in the winter and she has a lot of energy she needs to get out would be great for someone that has time to train or get her training. She’s a great loving dog and loves to sleep in bed and snuggle up

Story

Allie came to me from New Jersey as part of a cruelty case. She was running at large and beyond thin. During her time with me we have worked on her meal plan, which has been challenging as Allie has a lot of energy. She can burn calories fast. Allie had little to no obedience and has learned her basics very quickly. She is very attentive and eager to learn as well as being very food motivated. During her time with me the rescue closed and I choose to keep her versus putting her in boarding. She would make a great jogging partner, possible SAR work or a good tracking dog. When we go for a walk her nose hits the ground and it could stay there if I let it. Her tail wags constantly and she is generally a very happy dog. Allie does not do fireworks or loud thunder. Other than that NOTHING phases this dog, not even the vacuum. There is nothing that goes on in the home that she doesn't know about. She has been with me for almost 2 years and is ready for her own family.

Story

Stella is a very sweet 5-year-old dog that loves to cuddle. She is in need of her 3-yr rabies shot but will be getting it at the next clinic available. We have reached out to several shelters to see what our options are and none of them could take her and suggested to us to try to rehome her ourselves. We have moved to several places and our most recent move she has escaped our property and has shown aggression towards smaller dogs and even ones her own size. We have a cat and another dog. The cat she has shown aggressive behavior to in the last several months. Our other dog she's been great with. It has reached a point where we need to give her a different home with someone who can give her more attention and care than we can.
