Story
Quill is a 2 year old mini Goldendoodle that we believe was dumped by his breeder. He was on the run for three weeks before being caught. Getting him to safety was a priority because he had been "gifted" by a porcupine and his mouth was full of Quills preventing him from eating (hence his name). Because of his past a fenced in yard is required for this boy. He is still very shy but will take a treat out of my hand. He will need a patient home willing to work with him to gain confidence. . Story
Mary Jane is a 5 year old Cavapoo. She was turned over to us when her owner became to ill to care for her. She is 5 years old and can be wary of new people. She would do best in a quiet home with a female owner (which is what she is used to) She is on meds for seizures and hasn't had any since arriving so the meds are doing their job. She LOVES her toys and will spend most of the day carrying one in her mouth. She has also become quite fond on my slippers and sleeps with them in her bed every nite. She is such a little character and very entertaining once she feels comfortable with you. Her adoption fee is $250 and she has been spayed and microchipped. Please go to the website and fill out an application if you are interested in meeting her. www.susieqdogresq.com

Story
Stitch is a 6 month old Chihuahua that was turned over to us because the kids in the home made him nervous (there were 5, all under 8). He takes a few minutes to warm up but is the sweetest boy. He would love a family that is home a lot and another doggy companion would be great. His adoption fee is $350 and he has been neutered and microchipped. Story
Choo Choo is a French Bulldog rescued from a mill. She is a typical Frenchie, curious about everything and into everything!! She has the most beautiful patterned coat I have ever seen. She gets along with all the dogs and cats here and loves to sit on my husbands lap and watch tv. She is scheduled to be spayed the first week in January and we will be accepting applications, but will not place her till after that. Please go to the website and fill out an application if you are interested in meeting her. www.susieqdogresq.com

Story
Gracie spent 5 years in a puppymill before coming to us. She wants so badly to trust, her little tail will wag, but she is terrified because she was not treated very kindly in the mill. She keeps her pen clean and I carry her outside to do her business and carry her back in. We tried giving her the run of the house but she spent all her time hiding under the couch. We moved her into a pen where we can bend down and pet her and she can get used to human touch means love, not hurt. Gracie is so sweet with the softest fur and cute pushed in nose. We love this girl and want the best for her. A loving, quiet, patient home where she can learn the joys of being loved. Please go to the website and fill out an application if you are interested in meeting her. www.susieqdogresq.com

Story
CC is an 8-10yr old Lab. CC is a sweet older girl who wants to be with people so badly. CC doesn't like cats or dogs near her face so a home where CC can be the princess she is would be ideal for her. Or a home where she can slow meet one dog to acclimate to having another one around. she has briefly met a few kids and love them as long as they are calmer kids who recognize that space needs to be given to her. She'd be a great companion for an older person that wants something to take care of and love and be loved in return. CC does not like fast movements in her face which leads us to believe she can only see shadows, which has resulted in her having some negative vocal reactions. If you think CC might be the one for you, please call Livingston County Dog Control @585-243-6740. Please leave a detailed message if no answer and we will call you back as soon as possible. Thank you!
