Story
This is Ava, she is 3 years old. I got her as a puppy. Ava can be a huge love bug and loves to cuddle but at the same time she can have a lot of energy and loves to play with her toys! She needs a bigger space to live in where she can get all the energy out that she has and get the exercise she needs. She can be a very loyal dog! She unfortunately doesn’t do good with kids because she is a shy girl and gets startled very easily which can make her snap. She would seem to do better in an adult home she does do good with cats though. We want a home for her where she can get the training she needs and just someone who has patience and can show her all the love in the world. She is not leash trained because she does get scared very easily so it. Was hard to even get her to walk down the street without trying to pull me back home . She would need time to get use to you but I know with some training and work, patience and love she can love you like any other dog!

Story
Toffee is a sweet, healthy 2 year old male Staffordshire terrier. I've been fostering him since December 2024. He was surrendered to the Manhattan ACC by an owner who said they had no time for him. With a trainer's help, Toffee's come a long way in foster, learning better leash manners and basic commands, and working on his resource guarding issues. Toffee is seeking a forever home where he can be active, explore outdoors, and have snuggle time on the couch. He is house trained and crate trained. A home with a fenced yard where Toffee can play outside would be ideal, and/or an owner who enjoys taking him for walks, who will continue training w/support from the trainer. Toffee is neutered as of May 29, 2025. Toffee is a very friendly dog who loves meeting new dogs and people. He currently lives with 3 cats and they get along well. He is also a great TV watching buddy and enjoys stuffie toys, watching birds and squirrels, and being out in nature.

I hate that I even have to do this, but I have no choice at this point. I am being evicted from my apartment and I have nine dogs and I have to get rid of five of them and it’s breaking my heart but I’ve been evicted. I have to be out by the seventh and I cannot find an apartment that will take nine dogs. I found a few apartments that would except four so I have to get rid of five my stories long so whoever wants to hear it whoever’s interested in adopting five of them I will tell that to they’re all great dogs. It’s four girls and a boy. It’s the mom which is all black one and then her kids I’ve had them their whole lives. I was in a domestic violence situation where he was abusing me and the dogs but again, I will explain everything when asked, but I have until the seventh to get rid of five of them and I have no idea what to do. It’s me my son and nine dogs. I’m a single mom and I just don’t know what to do and it’s killing me because I love them so much. Text at 5188808810
