It breaks my heart to have to find a new home for my boy due to my wife's allergies. Odin is 6 years old and a well behaved dog. He does not climb on furniture and he knows quite a few commands. He walks well on a leash but be observant for any cats he will try to go after them. There is no adoption fee all I care about is that he goes to the right person or family that has time for him.

We rescued this puppy from an abusive household, she used to tremble if you reached out to touch her, she didn’t know how to climb stairs at 8 months old, and would eat likes she’s never eaten before. Her hair was clumped and dirty, and with fleas. She’s gotten way better as we have taken care of her but unfortunately we cannot house another dog for long. We want to give it a good home with loving family.

She loves to play fetch, is house trained, crate trained, and knows all her basic commands. Kandy gets along good with her two foster sisters, and will do good with other dogs or alone. ##1988107##

Beezus is extremely loyal to her people and really tries to please them. She’s the sweetest dog ever, her only vice is she can be reactive on a leash and it takes her a minute to warm up to new people/new dogs, but once she trusts you she will just be on top of you cuddling all day long. Her foster says "I would say she needs someone with experience with reactive dogs because it can be a little intense at first if you don’t know her. I always put a muzzle on her when she meets new dogs and if I have new people over I generally distract her with a frozen kong in her crate and then she’s perfectly fine. She’s seriously one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met, I hate that she has such a hard time with new people because I want everyone to see that side of her." Harley had a rough start when she arrived to New York but she is doing much better now. It takes Harley a couple of months to warm up to new people and new places, but once she is comfortable she's a love bug. She needs a home who is willing to take things at her pace, which MUST include ignoring her completely for the first few months until she comes to you. She does not like to go on walks, she enjoys a good yard with a nice chair to sunbath and being a homebody, sneaking herself under a blanket for a good nap. If you are looking for a pup to take with you everywhere, Harley is not for you. Harley does well with other animals in the home who are also willing to go at her pace. Harley needs someone willing to put in the work, but also do nothing. It took her 3 months to become comfortable in her foster home. We know the right family for her is out there!
