Story
This is Askher! She’s a very sweet little German Shepherd mix, we think there may be some Malinois in there due to build, she’s definitely a mix tho! Askher is very good with other dogs of all sizes and tho cats are unknown, she shows little prey drive so may be ok with dog savvy cats - we’re not sure as we generally can’t cat test :) Askher is gentle with small children though supervision is recommended and expected. She loves playing with older children and she’s been well socialized About 45 pounds Asker is spayed and utd on vax. Currently in CA, Asker NEEDS to leave her fosters by the end of July Foster or pre-adopter is needed in the CO area Please email mybestfriendrescue@gmail.com

Story
Cowboy was rescued by a Good Samaritan who found him tied to something out in the middle of nowhere. He almost died from starvation but even after everything he's been through he's still an amazing dog that loves people. He's great with strangers but can be territorial with his humans. He is an American Bulldog that requires experience. Cowboy needs a strong handler and nothing less. He requires a large 6 ft fenced yard and can be an escape artist. If he can squeeze through a gate he will go for a run and visit with people or other dogs. So a secure yard is required. He also requires a heavy duty crate when left alone because he knows how to unlock them. Cowboy is really a special dog that is very affectionate and loving. He does good with female dogs only and he doesn't like rough play at all. He's a gentle soul for a 5 year old. Aside from him being stunning he requires attention. He is an inside dog that loves the couch or his dog bed for comfort. Cowboy isn’t into toys like balls or stuffed animals but loves healthy treats and bones. He loves car rides and although he's a playful dog he is generally very calm and lazy. His environment needs to be quiet and not chaotic. Any arguments in the home will cause him to become protective and problematic. So a calm home is required. He loves walks and has some prey drive - he can't be left alone outside unattended at anytime. No cats. No young children and teenagers must be dog savvy - an adult only home is preferred. Story
Kismet is a very sweet young dog that we think is part Dalmatian and with his blue eyes part Husky or Aussie (?) we’re not quite sure lol We do know he’s had a rather rough start in life :( Originally from S CA, born in a shelter, he was adopted then dumped at a different AC that has a very high euthanasia rate. We got him out and he went to a CA boarding foster then finally headed here to Colorado - where he’s stuck in boarding again :( He was very scared at the shelter and can still be nervous of new people. He settles in quickly tho and LOVES familiar faces Kismet is an active guy and needs an active family so he doesn’t get bored lol He also loves to snuggle with his human - he loves affection tho it can take a minute for him to warm up. Once he does tho he’s a bit of a Velcro dog! As he learns he has a furever home I think his anxiety will settle down. Kismet has been kenneled for a while now so he needs some reminders on his potty training. He keeps a very clean kennel and will wait until he’s outside so it shouldn’t take much :) He likes to jump so def needs a few manners training still No very small children unless it’s a very dog savvy home with constant supervision Kismet is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vax He seems to be good with most dogs, cats and livestock unknown Foster, foster to adopt or adopter needed and the adoption fee can be paid over time He just needs a GREAT home Currently in Trinidad for meet and greets! Applications are on our website: mybestfriendrescue.org Email: mybestfriendrescue@gmail.com
