Story
Patches is energetic and needs an active person or family. He is lovable and playful. I have health issues and can not provide him with enough playtime and stimulation. I rescued him from a shelter about a year and a half ago. He will turn 2 in January. He is very well cared for and I have a few months of his monthly flea, tick and heartworm medicine to give to whomever adopts him. I would be happy to provide the name of his vet as well as give you his records. I just want him to be adopted by someone who will give him the love and attention he craves and deserves.

Story
Hi. My name is Lucky and I need to find my new home. I am approx. 12-13 yrs. old and weigh 37 lbs. I was surrendered to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue (PABR) almost 1 year ago and recently had surgery to remove a mammary tumor and another growth near my back end. I was such a good girl at the veterinary office. Now that my staples are removed and I am healing nicely, I can start my forever home search. I am spayed and up-to-date with my vaccinations. I have been using a doggie door in Rescue during the day. I will need to learn new rules in your home. I don’t look very happy in my photo, but PABR says that I am a happy girl with a nice disposition. I get along fine with other dogs. I have been in Rescue too long and need to quickly find a home where I will be loved forever. Do you have room in your heart and home for me? If you are interested in adopting Lucky, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue. Her adoption fee is $225, cash or check. The application is available at www.pennyangelsbeaglerescue.com. If your application is approved, you will be contacted by email or phone. PABR will let you know a date and time for your adoption. If you have any questions, contact beagler534@comcast.net AND emnase@aol.com, or call Penny Angels Beagle Rescue at 609-965-9476. Thank you!

Story
If you are interested in OLIVIA or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application here Please email the completed application to adoptionteam4.woofriver@gmail.com Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached. This adorable girl is OLIVIA! She is a sweet, sweet girl who can be a little shy when you first meet her. However watching her personality bloom as she becomes comfortable with her new surroundings is incredibly rewarding. OLIVIA is perfectly content to spend a lazy day on her dog bed watching a movie with her person, or, if you’re in the mood for some exercise, OLIVIA is there and ready. She absolutely loves going for walks and is learning how to walk well on a leash. OLIVIA is absolutely fabulous with other dogs. She is exponentially happier and more confident with canine companionship, so she is only available to forever families who have at least one other resident dog. She will fill your heart with joy and your life with happy memories for many years to come. To see even more pictures of OLIVIA, please copy and paste the following link into your browser: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/savlsxt5cugw64oei0m2m/AI06VHq1m1EyPbA8EPHDFXY?rlkey=cx20tof5dgmsjcfwl3ump7j98&st=ggl0akpz&dl=0 OLIVIA is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations. Her $540 adoption fee covers her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the New England area. For an adoption application on OLIVIA click here Please email the completed application to adoptionteam4.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you in advance for your patience. All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport. Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff. Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding. Please LIKE Woof River on Facebook! Thank you for choosing rescue!!

Not good with kids, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Bandit is a year and a half old terrier mix. He's a sweet social boy with some puppy energy to burn. He would be best in a home with no small children or small animals as he does act like he's trying to "herd" them and would do well with an active person that will help curb his energy into an activity. He has had some interactions with dogs here but is pretty indifferent after first meet, so he would need a meet with any potential canine companion.
