Story
Meet Tucker!! This adorable little guy was found as a stray back in Jan in a rural part of Tx. We had him placed with a foster until we could complete his vetting & to social him with other people and animals. Mr Tucker made his way to NJ Mar 8th and it was a few days later that we noticed he was limping. We had him seen by our vet when it was discovered that he had a broken leg. He was than taken to an orthopedic on 03/19 and his surgery was scheduled for the following week. Tucker has completely healed and has been cleared by the orthopedic for adoption! Tucker is now 1 yr old, he is fully vetted (vacs/neutered/chip). Tucker is great with other dogs, totally fine with cats, and good with kids visiting but will need a quieter home with older kids (teenagers). Story
Meet Daisy!! Even though she was in the shelter for a while, we couldn't pass up this adorable girl, she is all personality! Daisy was picked up as a stray back in Jan when she was just 6 mos old. A local rescue we work with often pulled her before she was euthanized. They reached out to multiple rescues but we were the only one who saw her potential. Do you like to walk/jog or run? THIS is your girl!! Daisy has a good mix energy and chill but would do best in a home that is active. Daisy is 1 yr old, fully vetted (spayed/vacs/chipped), she is housebroken and does ok in the crate, but she is not a fan at all. She is fantastic with other dogs, doesn't care about cats, and is good with kids. She would do best in a home that has another dog for her to play with, No little dogs or seniors as she is too active for them. If you would like to add this super sweet girl to your home, please complete the online application to begin the process. https://furrytailendingscaninerescue.org/adoption-application/ **A PHYSICAL FENCED IN YARD OR ACTIVE (RUNNER/HIKER/WALKER/JOGGER) FAMILY IS REQUIRED** ** BREED MIX DNA CONFIRMED** **PLEASE NOTE EMAILS FROM THE SITE EXPRESSING YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. Story
Meet Miss Loki! This girl is as sweet as they come! Loki & her brother were found as strays in Lubbock back in June by a good samaritan when they were just 3 mo old. They kept them safe while still trying to their "owners". They also reached out to the local humane society for help placing them in loving homes. We immediately reached out and advised we would take them into rescue. Loki & Logan arrived in NJ on Aug 09th. Logan was adopted a week later and this sweet girl is still waiting. Loki is now 6 mos old, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is shy with strangers initially, but warms up quickly. Loki is fantastic with other dogs, is fine with cats, and is good with kids but would do best in a home with kids that are a bit older. She is scheduled to be spayed on 11/15 The perfect home for Loki would be a home that doesn't have a constant flow of people in & out. She will look for a place to hide if there is a lot of people around. She will also need another dog in the home to play with/learn from. We can not stress enough how sweet this little girl is and would be the perfect addition to most families. Side note, in true Lab fashion she LOOOOVES water!!! Loki is crate trained and housebroken. If you would like to make this sweet girl a part of your family, please complete the online application to begin the process. https://furrytailendingscaninerescue.org/adoption-application/ **A PHYSICAL FENCED IN YARD IS STRONGLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED** ** BREED MIX IS DNA CONFIRMED, MIX OF 9 BREEDS** **PLEASE NOTE EMAILS FROM THE SITE EXPRESSING YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. Story
Meet Mac! This handsome boy came to us 3 mos ago when he was just 4 mos old. As with most black dogs, he gets overlooked time and time again. Mac is a sweet boy that is now almost 8 mos old. His story is a typical one in the South. He was picked up as a stray in Shreveport, La when he was just a little baby and brought to a high-kill shelter. We know the odds of him having a happily ever after were not very good. Mac is now almost 8 mos old, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is on the schedule to be neutered 11/27. He is good with other dogs (as long as not dominant), cats unknown, and really good with kids! He is a sweet boy that just wants to be loved and appreciated. He is also housebroken and crate trained. If you would like to make this adorable boy a part of your family, please complete the online application to begin the process. https://furrytailendingscaninerescue.org/adoption-application/ **A PHYSICAL FENCED IN YARD IS STRONGLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED** **NO RENTERS! Story
This sweet boy is Phillip! Phillip, along with his 5 sisters, 1 brother and mom were all found living under a house in Jonesboro, AR back in June when they were just 5 wks old. All were trapped and brought to the local humane society. We committed to taking all of them but they needed to stay long enough to get a couple of vaccines first. The owner of mom stepped forward 3 wks later demanding her dog back and than stated she wanted to puppies as well once she found out about them. They gave her until July 17th to pick them all up but as usual, she never showed up. Flynn and 3 of his sisters arrived Aug 17 and 1 went to her new family a few days later. Mr Phillip is now almost 4 1/2 mos old, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is good on a leash, crate trained, and just about housebroken. Phillip loves other dogs, doesn't care about cats, and is really good with kids. He is the perfect blend of a cuddle bug and playful sweet boy! Full grown he should be about 45 lbs. If you would like to make this sweet boy a part of your family, please complete the online application to begin the process. https://furrytailendingscaninerescue.org/adoption-application/ **A PHYSICAL FENCED IN YARD IS STRONGLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED** ** BREED MIX IS DNA CONFIRMED (sibling tested)** **PLEASE NOTE EMAILS FROM THE SITE EXPRESSING YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. Meet Riley!! This handsome boy was found as a stray back in July along with his brother Ryder in Lubbock, Tx. His brother was just adopted by his foster because these boys are so amazing! Riley is now 6 mos old, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is good on a leash, crate trained, and housebroken.
