Story
Hi, this is Scooby! He’s about 10 months old and a Black Mouth Cur. We found Scooby abandoned on the street, and after checking, we discovered he wasn’t microchipped. Since then, I’ve been taking care of him. He’s up to date on all his shots and has no health issues. I’m a college student who travels frequently and lives in a busy, shared household. Because of this, I believe it’s in Scooby’s best interest to find a loving family where he can thrive in a calmer environment. Scooby loves attention, going on walks, runs, and hikes. He gets along well with other dogs, adores people, and is incredibly friendly. He’ll make the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal and affectionate pet!

Story
Check out Holly Berry, and let’s get this girl home by the holidays!! The Good: - Sweet as pie - Professional goofball – guaranteed to make you laugh - Boundless energy (she’s always ready for an adventure!) - Cuddle monster – she’s an expert in snuggling - Social butterfly – loves meeting new friends - Confidence Level: 100 - Eager to please (she’s got a heart of gold!) - Professional fetch dog The Not Perfect: - Thinks chain-link fences are just a suggestion - Can be assertive and overwhelming to some dogs - Her size and enthusiasm is too much for children and cats - She’ll hold your hand… with her mouth. (It’s a thing, we don’t know, it makes her happy.) The Story: Holly Berry’s story is one of survival, hope, and the longing for a family to call her own. Just over a year ago, she was moments away from being put down in a shelter in Texas. Saved just in time, she moved from a cramped shelter to a spacious outdoor pen—one that was meant to be temporary. But that temporary space has stretched on, and Holly is still waiting for the one thing she craves most: a real home. This sweet girl is full of love, and she has so much to give. Holly adores every person she meets, always ready for a cuddle and never turning down a belly rub. Beneath her beautiful exterior lies a sharp mind—she’s already mastered fetch, and with the right guidance, she’ll continue to learn and thrive. Holly is eager to please and, more than anything, she just wants to be loved. She deserves so much more than the confines of a pen. Holly dreams of a (high fenced) yard, a lap to curl up in, and a person who will cherish her forever. Will you be the one to give her the home she’s been waiting for? Holly Berry (Holly) is estimated to be around 1.5 years old, and is 54 pounds. She is currently in Texas, but once adopted, will be transported to the NJ area. Story
“My name is Leonard Skynard (Lenny) and I am guaranteed to rock your world, In a good way of course. I am a a 6 month old mix of pure perfection, that’s what my foster mom says. I weigh about 45 pounds and growing by the minute. I’m a good very good boy. I am playful but I also love a good nap. I am young so I am used to hearing, ‘no Lenny', ‘drop it Lenny’, ‘give me that Lenny’ but I’m learning. I live with 3 other dogs and I just love them. I also live with 3 other furry things that meow. I do like to chase them but I mean no harm. I am crate trained and I go right in without a peep. I am doing great with my house breaking. I am a fun guy. I would make a great family member to any family.” - Lenny Leonard Skynard was rescued in Texas along with his Mom and siblings. A good samaritan found them and reached out to us for help. The whole family was living outside in the heat and were severely dehydrated and malnourished. Poor Momma pup was trying the best she could, but they were literally just skin and bones. Lenny and his siblings each weighed just 2 - 4 pounds (at 10 weeks old) and Mom was just around 20 pounds when our Texas foster was able to pick them up. Lenny got sick and lost even more weight but he wasn’t going to give up and as you can see from the pictures above, he has fully recovered and is a happy, healthy pups these days. He is enjoying every opportunity to be pet and loved. He loves to follow his foster mom around and sleep on her lap. He is currently being fostered in PA. Story
Sabre is a shar-pei mix who we think is the missing sibling of Jody and Buffy. Jody and Buffy were found on the highway after one of their siblings was hit by a truck. Sabre, and the mother, weren’t found with them. But after a few months we got a call from the shelter and they had found a pregnant pup who looked to be Jody and Buffy’s sibling. She didn’t have much time left in the shelter before she was scheduled for euthanization so we didn’t think twice about pulling her out immediately. Just two days after she arrived at our Texas foster’s house, she gave birth to nine beautiful puppies - 2 of which are still looking for their forever homes - Vodka and Whiskey who are also posted for adoption. Sabre was an incredible young mother, but now it's time for her to start enjoying life for herself. Sabre is estimated to be just about a year old. She is fully vaccinated and will be spayed before going home. She is a very loving girl, and very friendly with all the animals and the humans that she mets. She walks well on a leash. She seems to be house-trained. Her foster says she is a great dog!! Sabre is currently in Texas but will be transported to NJ when adopted.
