Hi. My name is Lucky and I need to find my new home. I am approx. 12-13 yrs. old and weigh 37 lbs. I was surrendered to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue (PABR) almost 1 year ago and recently had surgery to remove a mammary tumor and another growth near my back end. I was such a good girl at the veterinary office. Now that my staples are removed and I am healing nicely, I can start my forever home search. I am spayed and up-to-date with my vaccinations. I have been using a doggie door in Rescue during the day. I will need to learn new rules in your home. I don’t look very happy in my photo, but PABR says that I am a happy girl with a nice disposition. I get along fine with other dogs. I have been in Rescue too long and need to quickly find a home where I will be loved forever. Do you have room in your heart and home for me? Kai came to us as part of a cruelty investigation by ACPD and ACPO. He came to us starved, body score 1/9. He had a loving home for much of his life but fell on hard times when his owner died. Fortunately, with police intervention, he was rescued and came to our shelter for care and re-homing. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and fully vaccinated now. Kai is a good boy. Easy to be around, however, he is dog selective, so we recommend that he be the only dog in the home. We also recommend a home with no small children. She absolutely loves going for walks and is learning how to walk well on a leash. OLIVIA is absolutely fabulous with other dogs.
