Story
Introducing Brinda, a 5-6 year-old Boxer mix with a heart full of love and resilience. At 46 pounds, she’s a gentle and sweet girl who’s already proven herself to be a true gem. Despite a rough start—facing euthanasia due to overcrowding and a lack of interest in her—Brinda is ready to start fresh and find her forever family. Her journey hasn’t been easy. Brinda’s past left her with some scars, including the loss of her top teeth, possibly from being chained. But that doesn’t stop her from living her best life. She’s incredibly sweet, loving, and has quickly adapted to new experiences, like joining her first hike and doing wonderfully. She’s incredibly loyal and eager to share affection. Brinda is housebroken, crate trained, and knows how to sit on command. She's a chill girl who loves her walks and adventures, so she’d do well in a slightly active home. Brinda has been with a foster family in Kentucky for the time being and is said to be doing wonderful. There are 2 other pups in the house who she loves the company of, and has even taken on the nurturing motherly role with. She’s also great with cats and kids, making her a wonderful family companion. Her foster also mentioned she's not food aggressive in the slightest, and doesn't jump or bark. Brinda really is the full package. Thanks to her foster family in Kentucky, Brinda got the love she deserves but she’s now made her way to NJ and is still waiting for the perfect home where she can thrive. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal, and affectionate companion, Brinda might just be the perfect match for you. Apply today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application to meet this incredible girl and give her the second chance she’s been waiting for.If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: judy.atchison@yahoo.com THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN RESCUING A DOG! Story
Meet Brady! Your New Playful, Loving Companion! Brady is a 3 year-old, 47 lb bundle of joy who thinks he’s a lap dog! Playful and young, he’s ready to run, play, and make you laugh. Brady was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky, where outdoor time was a rare treat, but he’s been thriving in foster care with his current foster family in NY! He’s currently in a foster home with three older children, and loves soaking up all the attention he gets from them! Brady is dog and kid-friendly, but due to his playful nature, he’d do best in a home with older children. He has the most beautiful, soulful eyes. He knows basic commands like sit, off, down, come, place, bed and stay. He also knows how to wait for his food! Since he loves his treats he is very trainable and he learns commands quickly! He aims to please! With a little more guidance, he’ll be the perfect cuddle buddy who’s always ready for fun. Brady thinks a fenced yard to run would be the coolest. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup to add joy to your family, Brady is the one for you! Apply today to welcome this handsome boy into your life! www.peace4paws.org (using it a computer or laptop please) If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: judy.atchison@yahoo.com THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN RESCUING A DOG! Story
Meet sweet Bob, who was returned by no fault of his own. He’s currently in Mississippi, but we’d love to get him here with a foster or an adopter. Please read the description from the shelter below, and apply at www.peace4paws.org. Bob originally came into the shelter in December 2023 and we estimate him to be around 2 years old, 50 lbs. He was adopted in September and went through heartworm treatment but unexpectedly, the adopters living situation suddenly changed therefore Bob got brought back to us. Bob has been so confused as to why he is back in the shelter life and we are hoping he won’t have to stay very long! Whether it be a furever home or a foster home, let’s help get Bob back out of the shelter to help keep him from shutting down because right now he is sad and we don’t blame him. He is house trained and crate trained. He gets along with other dogs and is currently doing great in his foster home living with 3 other dogs and a couple of teenagers. He would be a great family dog and is overall a super sweet boy who just wants to be loved.“ To adopt Bob please go to peace4paws.org/adoption-application on a computer or laptop. Story
Meet Bluey, the 'double shot of espresso' in pup form. This little Heeler dynamo is full of enthusiasm with so much love to give. She’s doing wonderfully in her foster home, though like any spirited puppy, she’s still perfecting her manners. Bluey has mastered the “sit” command while waiting for meals, treats and toys. All she truly wants is a quick pat on the head or some positive words and she is satisfied - a real happy go lucky gal. Bluey is housebroken, sweet, and well on her way to being the perfect companion. She sleeps like a dream in her crate at night, giving everyone a peaceful night’s rest. During the day, she’s a playful ball of energy, and a fenced yard where she can run and play fetch is just the kind of space this little adventurer needs. While Bluey is happy to play with other dogs, she is an “in-your-face” kind of pup—always ready to engage and explore with others. She’s also doing great on walks. Bluey pulls on the leash occasionally, but overall she’s a pleasure to take on adventures around the neighborhood. This gal is still learning to play with toys and, like most puppies, she has a little bit of a nippy side—but nothing that a loving home and consistent training won’t help her overcome. Because of her energy and her instinctual herding nature, a home with older kids (around 10 and up) or a family familiar with Heelers would be ideal. Bluey would thrive with people who understand her breed’s intelligence, drive, and love for life. Overall, Bluey is a fantastic pup—playful, loving, and loyal. She’s just a typical Heeler, full of spirit and potential, and ready to become your best friend. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, adventurous companion, Bluey could be the perfect match for you. Story
Meet Berry, the sweetest and most playful 15-month-old, 32-pound bundle of joy is ready to fill your home with love and laughter. Berry is house trained, kennel trained, and has the best energy to keep up with your family’s adventures. He loves people of all ages—kids, adults, and everyone in between—and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats. Berry's story is a little bittersweet; he was surrendered to a vet after bigger dogs in his previous home were aggressive toward him, but he's resilient, affectionate, and eager for a fresh start with a loving family who will cherish him. He’s fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on all his shots, so he’s all set to join your home and begin making new memories. Berry comes from Kentucky and can’t wait to meet his new family. If you’re looking for a happy, playful companion to add to your home, Berry just might be your perfect match.
