Story
Our Reno has settled in so well in his foster home with his 2 foster siblings and his wonderful foster Mom. He is enjoying life playing in his big back yard, chewing on special bones and lounging on the patio. His foster Mom is working with him on walking on leash. He is also getting used to going in the car for rides, which he wasn't used to. Reno is: 🧡55 lb of love, Housebroken, Loves other Dogs, Friendly to everyone he meets, Playful, Smart, Crate Trained, has Good Manners, Knows Sit, Treat and Food Motivated, and is so Handsome. 🧡 We think he is a Shep/Dobie Mix, is neutered and all appropriate vaccines, and his Heartworm/Lymes Negative. 🧡 We would love to find him a home with another dog if possible, a home with a fenced yard, and a family who will give him the life he so deserves. If you would like to Adopt Reno, please Email: @wjvolunteers@yahoo.com to find out about our adoption process and with any questions you may have. We would be happy to answer your quesitons, and set up a time for you to meet our handsome boy.

Story
Walks + Car Rides = A happy Daisy 🌼🐶 Is wonderful with other dogs Love everyone she meets, so friendly Is Food Motivated but so gentle She loves her Walks and meeting new people. 14 yr old but still active Daisy is incredibly easy to handle on walks. Her pace is more akin to a slow stroll, and she always takes time to stop and smell the flowers (or say hi to new people and dogs). She also travels beautifully in the car - either lounges in the back or sits up to watch the world cruise by. Both activities are so simple and fill her with pure joy. She’s easy to please and one of the happiest dogs I’ve ever fostered. If you would like a little daily sunshine in your life, please consider adopting Miss Daisy. Email: wjvolunteers@yahoo.com for info on Daisy and our adoption process.

Story
If you are looking to add a dog to your family, Carmel is definilty a great choice. He would be a great friend to another playful dog that you may have, or he would also be fine as the only dog. Carmel is under 1 yr old, 45 lbs., neutered and up to date on vaccines, Very affectionate, Playful, Friendly to everyone, is good with other playful dogs, would be good with a dog savoy cat. We believe he is a Collie mix. He is Housebroken, Crate trained and Knows to sit for treats. He is learning to walk on a leash and also learn other commands, like Wait and Paw and Look at Me. He needs a secure yard, (5 ft + fencing) Everyone who meets him just loves him, and He loves everyone, and is so affectionate. He loves to play, and would be a good companion for an active family with another dog he could play with. He absolutely loves toys, especially Rope toys and balls. He has no toy or food aggression. He just loves belly rubs. WJVA will pay for some of training for him with whoever Fosters or Adopts, to make him an even better dog. Email: wjvolunteers@yahoo.com with any questions about Carmel or about our Foster and Adoption programs. Carmel comes with a training session paid by WJVA.
