Story
Meet Abby! My heart is lonely, and I am searching for you! I am a young, beautiful girl, who is just 2.5 years old, weighing 34 pounds. I am Shepherd mix, and I must say, I am very pretty. I am searching, with love in my heart and soul, for my forever home. Everyone who meets me says I am incredibly lovable. I am curious, attentive, and loyal. Some of my favorite things are being outside, taking long walks, going for car rides and napping. I am particularly good at napping. Playing with dogs that are my size or slightly larger is also so much fun for me. That’s when you see who I truly can be. I am sweeter than sugar, and I really mean that. I can also be quiet and chill with you. I am so good in my crate at night, you won’t even know I’m there. I am extremely gentle, I rarely bark, I don’t react when the doorbell rings, I don’t jump on people, and I don’t counter surf. And bonus, I’m housebroken! I would love to have a loving female adopt me. Someone who can take long walks with me or even bring me to doggy day camp. If you have a dog in your home already, that’s a bonus! If not, that's okay. Oh, did I mention that I walk great on a leash, another bonus! I do prefer a low traffic home. While I love kids, and I am so well behaved around them, it’s best if I don’t actually share a home with them. Patience, understanding, consistency and love are the things I need from you. If you give me time to trust and find comfort with you, then I will be the most perfect companion. I have so much love to give! Abby’s current foster, her rescue team at Peace4Paws, and her adoption advocate all agree … Abby is truly the sweetest girl! She can be timid and nervous. But if you show her patience and understanding, she will lovingly follow you around and lay down while you’re cooking or even folding the laundry. Abby deserves the absolute best life. She is so easy to love, your heart can’t help but fall for her. Her ideal home is female only, no children, loving, patient and comforting. To meet apply on a computer or laptop at www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application. She is waiting for you!If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: judy.atchison@yahoo.com THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN RESCUING A DOG! Story
Hi there! I’m Happy, a 5-year-old mixed breed weighing in at a solid 49 lbs of love and joy. I may have come from sunny Mississippi, but I'm ready to find my forever home up north where I can finally settle in and rest my head on your lap. I’ve been attached at the hip to my best bud, Stan, and we’ve become quite the duo. We’d thrive best together, bringing double the love and joy into your home. I'm definitely the more confident of the two as Stan relies on me by his side. I’m super alert and friendly, always ready to greet new friends with a wagging tail and a big smile. Though we love. good romp in the yard, I'm the more chill one that is just happy to sit and be petted or follow you around. We've never really been in a home as pets or learned proper manners but I'm eager to learn with a patient family. I’m also fully vaccinated and neutered, so I’m all set to join your family. If you’re looking for loyal companions to bring happiness into your life, look no further. We can’t wait to meet you and start our new adventure together. Ready to make me part of your family? Story
Meet Charlotte, a sweet 6.5-year-old Beagle who is ready to find her forever home. At 26 pounds, she may be in her senior years, but she’s still full of love and joy. Found without one eye, it doesn't slow her down in the slightest and adds to her cuteness. Charlotte is a calm and gentle soul who loves the company of people, especially kids. She’s a laid-back girl who enjoys lounging around and sleeping most of the day, making her an ideal companion for a family that’s looking for a relaxed, affectionate dog. Charlotte is spayed, microchipped, and housebroken, which means she’s all set to settle into her new home with ease.
