Story
We adopted Ghost from the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter in 2022. He'e estimated to be 7 years old now, and his estimated birth month is July. All we know about his breed is that he's a terrier mix, and so he can be strong-willed. He's also blind, having lost his sight suddenly for no known reason (diagnosis: SARDS) in 2023. Despite that, he can perfectly get around the house and yard, and only needs help with curbs when walking around the neighborhood, as he loves walks. Ghost is cuddly, a true lap dog, and loves to be with his people, but he's wary of guests and unfortunately greatly fears small kids. Outside of his home, he's friendly to strangers and older kids. He's used to be being gated in his own room at night, so he'll probably take to a crate just fine. He likes to play tug of war or run with a leader (on a leash) back and forth in the yard.

Story
Winston is ready to find his family. Winston is a handsome 3 year old boy who will bring a smile each day.  He is an active dog and was part of the running club at the shelter.  He has done great in his foster home with training.  He loves to learn puzzle games and is excelling  on his basic commands.  Winston wants to find a family who is committed to keeping him physical and mentally active. He would benefit from an adopter with GSD experience who is committed to continuing his training. He has done well with dog savy cats and the dogs in his foster home after slow introductions.  ##1674636##

Story
Bellarosa is happy, friendly, affectionate and confident. She has adjusted very well living in her foster home and is quite comfortable.  Bellarosa would love to find a home where her people work from home or are retired.  She will do best with a low key male dog.  Her Foster mom has to say about her. Bellarosa will play in the backyard as long as I’m on the deck (beforehand, she would not go out in the yard unless I was out there with her.) She loves running and is fast! She LOVES people of all ages. She just wants to be around people 24/7, and is my shadow. She listens very well. Bellarosa likes my 2 dogs, but can be bossy. She thrives on routine, and if I’m running late for her morning walk, she will let me know! Her morning walk is 1 hr, but she would like it to be longer. She is quite energetic for being 7! On walks, she will strain towards cats, rabbits, squirrels, and other dogs.. We are working on her leash manners. We are also working on her anxiety when I have to leave the house. Overall, I think she is making great strides and doing amazing. ##2135995##

Story
Hello, I`m Beverly! I may be a senior, but don`t let that fool you. I`m full of energy and love to play. I`m also quite independent, so I don`t mind having some alone time. But don`t worry, I`m also very friendly and love to meet new people. I`m a bit of a chatterbox, too. I love to `talk` and express myself. I may not be a puppy anymore, but I`ve got a lot of love to give. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will be by your side, always ready for a chat or a play. So, what do you say?
