Meet Autumn: Your Future Furry Friend! Autumn is ready for her forever home! This sweet girl arrived at the shelter on September 19, 2024, and is looking for a loving family to call her own. About Autumn: Breed: Boxer Mix Age: 5 years (DOB: 09/08/2019) Weight: 67 lbs Health: Up to date on rabies, distemper, and Lyme; current on heartworm prevention; spayed. Autumn has experience with children, having been around them from babies up. She does well with most dogs but doesn’t have any known history with cats. While she can be a bit shy around men, she warms up to women quickly and forms strong bonds once she feels safe. When Autumn first arrived, she was a bit stressed and scared, but with patience and love, she has shown her sweet personality! She enjoys going for walks and runs and does great in the car. While she may not be overly interested in toys just yet, she absolutely loves affection and will shower you with love once she trusts you. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your kindness with endless love, Autumn could be the perfect match for you! Interested in meeting Autumn? Come visit us at Franklin Animal Shelter and give this sweet girl the chance she deserves!

Meet Lenny! Looking for His Forever Home Soon 🐾 Lenny, our sweet 12-week-old pup, is getting ready to find his forever family! This little guy is currently in foster care, where he's learning the ropes and even crate training (he eats his meals there too!). Lenny will need a home with another dog buddy to help him continue growing and learning. If Lenny finds his family before he turns six months, the adoption fee plus half of his neutering cost is due upfront, with a refund provided once his neutering is completed with our vet. His foster family says he’s a good boy who’s doing well with house training and is learning quickly! Note: Lenny is not available at the shelter for visits. If you’re interested, please set up an appointment at a mutually convenient time with his foster family. 🌟 Let’s help Lenny find his perfect match! 🌟

Story
Hey there, future human! I’m Ruby, your soon-to-be favorite 7-year-old lovebug, with just the right mix of sass and sweetness.I’ve got a touch of arthritis that needs a bit of management, but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying those short, cozy strolls with you. I like to hold onto the leash to make sure we’re always on the right path! When I meet new people, I might get a burst of excitement and pull a bit on the leash, but with a little patience, I’ll be your perfect walking buddy. I’m all about spreading love and joy in a calm, peaceful home. I’d prefer not to share my space with other pets or kids under 12.I’m housetrained, adore a good car ride, and am ready to fill your life with snuggles and affection. If you’re looking for a mature, devoted friend who knows how to be the best companion ever, come meet me. I promise you won’t regret it!

Story
Meet Joy: The Spooktacular Chew-some Sidekick! Hey there, hoomans! I`m Joy, a 1-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer/Lab mix, and I’m here to cast a spell of silliness and joy (see what I did there?) in your life! Let’s get one thing straight: I believe in no personal boundaries! Your space? What’s that?! I’m all about the hugs, snuggles, and surprise face licks. I’m the furry friend you never knew you needed… I’m like a jack-o`-lantern filled with energy, ready to bounce into your life! Whether we’re chasing broomsticks (or tennis balls) or playing tug-of-war with my favorite chew toys, I promise you’ll never have a dull moment. Just be warned: I have a bit of a “chewy” reputation. Destructive toys are my besties—so stock up, or prepare to have your favorite shoes turn into chew sticks! ????So, if you’re ready for a whirlwind of tail wags, belly rubs, and a whole lot of mischief, adopt me this Halloween! Together, we’ll create the most pawsitively hilarious haunted house this side of the dog park!Boo-tiful adventures await—don’t ghost me! ??????P.S. I promise to keep all the treats and spooky stories just for you!
