Story
Hello, my name is Asha! I am a Wadi dog from the country of Oman and at 4 years old weighing approx. 45lbs. I was rescued along with some of my brothers and sisters at a very young age and spent most of my life in shelters. One of my hobbies is climbing big rocks! I could probably be an agility dog with the right training. I do prefer the low-key lifestyle overall though, and don’t need a lot of exercise to be happy. I am quite shy meeting new people and when in new situations. Sometimes I can be a bit picky about my dog friends as well. But once I made a friend, I love playing with them. Please think about adopting me. I am ready to show a family that I can be a great family member. Asha would do best in a quiet house, with low activity. Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Hi there! I’m Ava! I have come a long way to get to the US! Travelling all the way from Oman to be here at Fast Friends. I was rescued off the streets at a very young age with my siblings and mother and have lived most of my life in shelters, but really would love a home of my own. I am 4 years old and weigh approximately 40lbs. I would really like a home that is quiet and understands that it will take me time to adjust to new people and situations. I love to go for walks. My favorite part is to sit down occasionally, so that you can pat me and tell me how good I am doing on our walk. Once I get to know you, I walk great on a leash and my manners are some of the best in the shelter. Please consider adopting me. I’m willing to show just how much love I can show you in a home. Ava is looking for a quiet home, with moderate activity level. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Hey HEY, Hi! My name is Lizzy! I have been in a shelter for too long, and really need to move into my forever home. At approx. 2 years old, I weigh around 45lbs. I can be a bit shy at first with strangers and would take some time to trust you. Once you have my trust though, I will be your shadow. New places and people can be daunting for me, so I will need someone who understands that slower is better for me. I love to be playful and am a tug of war champion. I can tug with other dogs, or with you, but hold on tight! I know some basic commands, and staff has been working hard to get me to walk nice on leash, but having a home of my own would make it easier for me to understand that concept. Please consider adopting me. I promise you won’t regret it; it probably be the best choice you ever make. Seth at Fast Friends is also tired of staff asking him why I am still here! Lizzy would do well in a quiet to moderate activity level home. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Hi, nice to meet you, my name is Sarabi, When I traveled from Puerto Rico to New Hampshire, it was such a long trip, but I’m hopeful it will all have been worth it when I find just the right family to be with. I have been in and out of shelters for most of my life and I’m only 2.5 years old and I weight approx. 76lbs. Toys are probably the best thing ever invented! I love to see how many I can carry in my mouth at once, so far, my record is 4! If you want someone to go for long walks, and adventures through the woods, I’m your girl. The staff at Fast Friends say that I have a great nose that could probably sniff out a T-rex bone 3,000 feet below the ground. I’m pretty sure they are right. My manners on a leash have improved throughout my stay here, and I would love to show you how well I behave for the right motivation (yummy dog treats). If you are thinking about adding a new furry family member to your home, please consider me for that position, I promise I’m up for it! Sarabi would do best in a low to moderate activity level home. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Dexter has been through a lot to get to where he is today, being neglected and used as a badger baiting dog (which is why he has so many facial scars) He is an amazing co-pilot, and enjoys car rides. This Irish lurcher is just the sweetest boy who loves people. He is also full of youthful energy and would be great for a family that likes to run and play in the yard. He has found a love for squeaky toys. He would make anyone a great best friend to have by your side. Dexter does well with some dogs but his play style can be a bit much for some. Dexter would do best in a home with an experienced pet parent and a moderate to highly active family. He would probably not do well as an apartment dog. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. If you are interested in Dexter or one of our other available dogs, please complete an adoption application at www.helpinggreyhounds.org/adopt.

Story
Hello! My name is Diva, I am 10 months old, and I weigh approx. 28lbs. Let me tell you a little about myself. I was flown a distance from my homeland in Portugal, to have a better chance of adoption here in the US. To be honest, the language around here is kind of weird, but I’m getting used to the weird words, like “sit”. I’m always very excited to meet anyone, I love playing wit other dogs during playtime and for sure would be great company for long walks. Like any puppy, I still need some basic manners, but aim to please! Be careful though, I’m quick and could steal that yummy treat out of your hand in a blink of an eye. I could grow up to be a wonderful family dog, that will love you forever. Please take a moment to think about adopting me! Diva would do well in a home, and possibly in an apartment setting under the right circumstances. She would have no problem adjusting to a busy and active lifestyle. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. If you are interested in Diva or one of our other available dogs, please complete an adoption application at www.helpinggreyhounds.org/adopt
