Story
If you want a 100-pound furrball, you must come to meet Kaya!! Kaya is a gorgeous red Malamute that is fun to be around! Kaya loves to go for car rides, hikes, and strolls in the lakes. She is 9 years old but has the energy of a much younger dog. Kaya was recently adopted and though she gets along with most dogs in a more casual setting she does not want to share her home with one. She was in a home with a toddler for the week she was adopted and did very well with him. Kaya's ideal home would be someone who loves to go for walks and have a canine sidekick on road trips. We are open Wed-Sat from Noon to 4 for walk-ins. To get preapproved to adopt same day fill out an application on our website spfldhumane.org. If you have a vet you must contact them to permit them to speak to us. Adoption fee-$100 Due to the strict animal import laws in MA, we can not adopt to MA residents.

Silly, short and sweet, this 47 lb powerhouse loves to play with people and dogs and thinks that rain isn’t necessary The adoption fee is 500 and she has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 1, 2024, 9:26 pm

Cloudia loves to lie outside keeping watch while the younger dogs play. She loves going on walks and hikes and is friendly with everyone she meets along the way. Come meet Cloud today!   Please visit our website for mopicinfo on adopting this dog                      www.barkdogfarm.org   Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees.  They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash.  You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries.  Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors.
