Story
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - I'm Tigger! I was named Tigger because I like to bounce just like the Winnie the Pooh character! When I get excited it's like I can't help it, my back legs turn to springs and before you and I know it I am licking you in the face. Apparently that isn't the greatest way to greet humans. Not everyone enjoys that so I have been training really hard to keep my paws planted on the ground when I get excited. I am eager to learn and love treats so that comes at an advantage. My training journey has just begun so I do have a long way to go. I have begun to learn to walk properly on a leash without dragging you behind me but I do have my moments. I don't know my own strength. I have also been training to stop being so mouthy. It's fine to be mouthy with my toys but not my friends arms. That's what they tell me, anyway. I am trying my best to make that stick. I would be a great companion for someone who loves the outdoors and loves to stay active! I love to play with my friends by throwing a ball around, or chewing on a squeaker. I am a huge fan of treats and all things yummy so you could even get me kongs to stay occupied, or snuffle matts to give me some mental stimulation. I am excited to meet you, as long as you promise to go slow with me at first. Once trust has been built up we will be best friends in no time! - Tigger will need a home with older children, and needs to meet dogs before going home.

Story
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - This is Marley. Marley is a timid girl who will require a home that is willing to work on her insecurities. She is the type that values trust. She will need some confidence building exercises as well as socialization. She came to the shelter with other dogs, so we firmly believe she would do well in a household with others. A confident dog might do her wonders! Marley can be a flight risk and will need to have her collars, harness, etc as well as her leashes secured properly. We do not want her going for a walk/run without her owners! Due to Marley being so timid she will need a home without young children. She would do fantastically in a home that is willing to work on her anxieties and provide the love, care, and socialization she needs to be the best dog she can be! She might not have had the greatest start, but we truly believe she can have the happiest of endings.

Story
Come see me at PAW!Adoption fee 390$Hi! I'm Jet. I'm a lovely 6 year old house hippo who can't wait to find my new home! Unfortunately I came to the shelter because my owner passed away. My friends at the shelter have no history of my life before arriving here, but I hope to create new amazing memories with my forever family! I'm a short & sweet medium energy gal who can enjoy a nice walk, but also having snuggles on the couch. Speaking of walks, I would benefit from some leash training, because I do tend to pull at times. I'm a very friendly lady, but it does take me a moment to get used to new people. I would appreciate being slowly introduced to new friends, especially with men. I believe I'd do best in a home with older children who can take it slow with me if any. Once I get to know you, I'm a happy and affectionate girl who does like to jump when I get excited. I have lived with a dog before, but I will need to meet new pups before going to my new home to make sure that we get along. I'm so pumped to find my forever family that will spoil me with love every day!

Story
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - Hi, I'm Rowdy! I am thrilled to make your acquaintance! I am a hyperactive, go-getter ready to take on the day and all of it's adventures! I would do fantastically in a home that will want a hiking or jogging buddy as my energy levels are high. My back legs turn into springs when I get to meet you or if I get too excited. A great adjective to describe my personality would be enthusiastic. I would thrive in an environment with older kids, and someone who would put in some basic obedience training. According to my friends it is usually the humans that take the dogs on the walks, not the other way around. So I will need to learn some manners. I have gotten along with some dogs at the shelter, but I can be quite unsure at first so if there are any doggos in my new potential home I will need to meet them first to pass the vibe check. Cats on the other paw? No thanks, bucko. I am not a huge fan of the kitties. Me and cats just don't mesh well but that's okay, I am sure I can find a home without them, and still get all the love and walks I so desperately want! I cannot wait to meet you! - Rowdy will need regular grooming due to his coat.

Story
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - Hey friends, I'm Dolly! I traveled all the way from Manitoba to NB in search of my forever home. If you haven't noticed yet I am walking around with only three legs! Not to worry about me though, I get around just fine and it doesn't seem to bother my day to day life. I can still go up and down the stairs, and walk around with ease. I even enjoy going for walks outside. I am a lower energy gal though, so short walks would be great for me. My friends have noticed when I find a home I may need a refresher on going potty on the grass and not on the floor. But I am eager to learn and to please you. I love making new friends of any ages, and even some dogs! A dog that matches my low energy would be ideal for me, so an introduction before going home would be best. I am super excited to meet you and head to my forever home! I have traveled a long journey to get here I cannot wait to finally be at home with my new family cuddled on the couch!

Story
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 -Hey friends, I'm Bailey! I am a timid 8 year old German Shepherd mix. I would do well in a quiet environment that will allow me to come out of my shell at my own pace. I value trust and and appreciate a good treat and light scratch to help me come around. I am a lower energy gal at the shelter and haven't shown much interest in toys but I do enjoy a nice walk. I am fully potty trained to go outside so if you work during the day I will hold it in. However, if left alone I am a chewer. I do have separation anxiety so a crate might be a good option for me to ensure I don't ingest something I am not supposed to. I would do best in a home without small children, as I can be anxious around noise and people in my personal bubble. I would do okay in a home with cats, or other low energy dog like me but proper introduction is needed to ensure best friend status. I am a gentle gal so don't like my large size intimidate you. I cannot wait to find my people and go on a car ride home! I love car rides!
