Story
Mercury's love for people is as boundless as the universe, and with a slow and patient introduction, he transforms into a true lovebug. His expressive eyes and wagging tail tell the story of a pup eager to connect and create a bond that lasts a lifetime. Once he knows you're a friend, he'll be your most devoted companion, offering endless cuddles and tail-wagging joy. However, Mercury's celestial charm is unique, and he requires a home where he can shine as the solo star. He has shown aggression towards other animals, so a pet-free environment is essential for his happiness and well-being. Mercury thrives when he can be the center of attention, basking in the love and companionship of his human family. Mercury's ideal home is one filled with understanding and a commitment to his need for exclusive affection. A secure and calm environment will allow him to blossom into the affectionate and loyal companion he longs to be. Whether it's a quiet evening on the couch or an outdoor adventure, Mercury is ready to share his love with a family who appreciates the unique brilliance of his personality. If you are interested in Mercury, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org and call Sam at 775-338-6631.November 3, 2024, 4:20 pm

Story
At 2 years old Nina is maturing into a wonderful companion dog. She loves being with her people, whether it is playing fetch, cuddling on the couch or taking a drive. She is 55lb of love and fun, not to mention an eye-catching beauty! Her favorites include: Big, Red Jolly Ball, hard chew bones, and treats! She also LOVES to play fetch and pre-bedtime snuggles! She is very responsive to positive attention and is working hard in training sessions. Nina is making great strides in Obedience Class and socializing trips to the Vet and public places. Nina learns quickly and knows many basic commands including Sit, Stay, Wait, Come, Leave it, Off, Drop it, Go potty and House. She also recognizes hand signals. Nina loves to play with dogs that are energetic and confident. She fits best with dogs that are bigger and can remind her of appropriate play. Nina enjoys tug of war, wrestling and running with her foster dog siblings. She often brings a toy to get the party started! Because Nina is very athletic and strong her best home will be with a family that has older children/teens and experience with Guard breeds or similar. Nina is smart, loyal and ready for her special forever someone! If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org or text 775-846-3773.November 30, 2024, 1:03 am
