Hi, I`m Dupe, and I’m pretty much the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet! I love people—everyone I meet is my new best friend, and I’ll wag my tail so hard it might just make you smile. Other dogs? Oh, they’re my squad! Playtime in the corral here is the highlight of my day, and I’ve got pretty good manners, too. No jumping, limited leash pulling—just lots of polite tail wags and happy greetings. I have a sweet temperament, always ready for belly rubs, snuggles, or just hanging out. But, here’s my secret: I’m not just your average dog. I’m a *superhero*. Yep, you heard that right! I’m always on alert to keep my family safe, zoom around the yard at lightning speed, and spread joy wherever I go. I mean, isn’t that what a superhero does? Whether I’m on a mission to find the squeaky toy or giving you my signature heroic cuddle, I’m always saving the day in my own way!And guess what? I`m up for adoption! So if you`re looking for a sweet, friendly, and heroic dog, look no further-I`m ready to save the day and become part of your family.

Meet Happy: A Dog with a Heart of GoldHappy’s name couldn’t be more fitting—he’s a bundle of joy wrapped in fur, radiating love to everyone he meets. Over a year ago, this sweet soul was abandoned in the front corral of CNHS, but Happy didn’t let that dim his spirit. He found his way to the adoption floor, charming staff, visitors, and other dogs alike, especially the puppies and small pups he adores.Life threw Happy a curveball when he tore a cruciate ligament in his leg. His road to recovery was long and tough—nearly 10 months of healing, rest, and determination. Through it all, Happy never lost his signature smile or his enthusiasm for life. Today, you’ll often find him strolling alongside his favorite GIPD human, Officer Olson, soaking up the sunshine and spreading cheer.Happy is more than ready to find a forever family who’ll love him as much as he’ll love them. This resilient, affectionate boy has been through so much, and now he’s dreaming of the day he can fill someone’s home with wagging tails, endless cuddles, and his unwavering happiness. Could you be the happy ending this remarkable dog deserves?

Story
Are you ready to add a bundle of joy and energy to your life? Giggles is a 1.5 year old medium-sized cattle dog mix who lives up to her name-she`s always happy and full of life! This spunky girl has energy for days and would thrive in a home with plenty of space to run and play. Apartments? Not her style! Giggles needs a big yard where she can zoom to her heart`s content. Her love for toys knows no bounds, and she`s always up for a good game. Whether it`s fetch, tug-of-war, or chewing on her favorite squeaky toys, she`ll keep you entertained for hours. Giggles is a spirited and playful girl who does best with other dogs that can match her rough-and-tumble play style. She requires slow and proper introductions to new canine friends. She is not the dog for young kids as she strongly dislikes them, so she must go to a teenage and adult only home where she can focus on her training and fun. Speaking of training, Giggles has a lot to learn and needs someone dedicated to guiding her energy in the right direction. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she`ll grow into the amazing companion you know she can be. If you an experienced dog owner with a love for high-energy pups, Giggles is ready to fill your home with laughter, joy, and endless adventure! Could she be the perfect fit for your family?

Story
Hi! I`m Duramax!I`m a big ol` German Shepherd Mix with a name as strong as my personality. I`m about as independent as they come-kind of the `let`s just vibe together` type of dog. I`m not clingy, but I`m super sweet and will happily chill near you while we are both doing our own thing. I`m also really smart, so if you`re looking for a dog who can learn quickly (with a little bit of patience and training), I`m your guy.I am an older dog so life with me is best in a calm and spacious environment. Chaos? Not my thing. Small kids or overly busy homes? They can be a bit much for me. I like to take my time to feel comfortable, so I`d love a house with a backyard where I can stretch out, roam and enjoy some needed solo time in the sun. When it comes to other dogs, I`m selective. I get along best with calm, chill dogs like me-no young and wild party animals please! And just to be upfront: cats are a no-go. They`re a little too exciting for me, if you catch my drift. Overall I`m a laid-back, independent, and loving dog who just needs the right home to thrive. If you have a peaceful household and a bit of extra patience to help me settle in , I promise I`ll be the best companion you could ask for. Let`s meet-I think we could be a great match!

Story
My name is Virginia and my big ears are almost as big as my heart!I am a young girl who is full of energy, I would love a family who will take me for walks or take me outside to play and get the exercise I need in life. After we are done playing I would love to cuddle up in your arms and take a longggg nap! I love my toys and I am great at the game of fetch. I also LOVE the water so I would be a great lake companion during the summertime. I can be shy with strangers at first but it only takes me a second to jump in your arms, after that initial introduction we are besties!I do seem to enjoy other dogs and love playing with them, but I can be protective of my food, so if you have another doggie friend in the home it would be best if we are separated during food and treat time. I`m fine if a human touches my food however.Come meet me and let me join your family! :)

Bombur here!I am a big boy who will be VERY excited to meet you!I have a lot of energy and still play like a puppy, I love running around and playing with my toys! It is my favorite activity! I also will never get tired of cuddling you, and laying on your lap like I am a small dog ;)Since I still have a lot of my puppy qualities, I might need some training with things. I do like to jump on you to greet you because I get sooo excited when we play, and I sometimes pull too hard on the leash, I am a smart boy so with a little bit of help I will learn these things quickly and improve!I do enjoy some other dogs as long as they are more submissive dogs, if you do have another dog in the home I would need to meet them first.Come see me!
