She is exceptional at all basic commands, listens and responds well. She does need to be the only pet in the home. She does a controlled heel and would enjoy walks but will need to be on lead. She would greatly benefit from an owner who understands the German Shepherd breed. She is very strong weighing in at 67 lbs, and is six years old. Koda is available for adoption through LSAR.org. She is a gorgeous girl and would make a wonderful companion. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ranger is a young neutered male pittie/aussie cross. This combination makes him stubborn and smart at the same time. He is a very friendly guy - always happy to see you and up for a good time. He is good with other dogs, but his lack of social awareness can make him a little much for some dogs. Ranger has had some extensive training with our trainer in Missoula and has made great strides. He is going to require an active home and a family committed to giving him exercise and continuing his training so that he can be a good canine citizen. He is neutered and microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is 150.00 and his adopter will receive three free training sessions with one of our trainers if local or in Missoula or Kalispell or a trainer of your choice if you live elsewhere.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 1, 2024, 10:52 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ben is a young mastiff cross. He is about a year old and is neutered. Ben is a very big boy with wonderful qualities. Ben is amazing on a leash and does great with heel. He is extremely treat motivated and loves his kennel. He is housetrained and rings a bell to go to the potty. He takes treats gently. He is good with cats that don't run - even if they run he will chase but is not aggressive. He loves other dogs but does need to be introduced properly. Ben loves to be cuddled by his people.  Ben needs a specific type of home as he is terrified of strangers. He needs a home that is relatively quiet and doesn't have people he doesn't know coming in and out all day long. He is not a dog you would take to a dog park (although he loves to run and play with other dogs) or to anyplace where there would be strange folks wanting to meet him. In his home and safe place, Ben is relaxed and happy with his immediate family. Ben is a special dog in need of a special home. If interested, please complete an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 1, 2024, 10:52 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Maddie is a beautiful six year old spayed female GSD cross. She loves her humans and is trained and obedient. She does get along well with other dogs but does have a dominant personality so her people will need to make her understand that she does not need to be in charge or a protector because that is their job. Maddie is healthy, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. As stated before, she is dog friendly and tolerates cats. She is great on a leash, potty trained and knows basic commands. If you are looking for a loyal loving companion, please consider this deserving girl. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.A little love and nurturing and a whole lot of food and TLC have done wonders for our boy Mufasa. In a little over a week, he has gained 5 pounds, his pressure sores are starting to heal, and his sweet and goofy personality has really started to shine. Mufasa is learning that people can be really useful and a lot of fun to hang with, and that life outside of a too small kennel is pretty awesome. He was neutered this past week, vaccinated and microchipped, and he is absolutely ready to start his new life. He would benefit from a home where his people have a lot of time to spend with him as he does not enjoy being confined or alone. Now that he has discovered he likes people, he wants to be with people all the time. He does enjoy dogs that don’t scare him, that is, dogs that mind their own business and don’t get all up in his. He likes cats. If you have room in your home and heart for this gentle giant, and would like to be considered for his forever home please complete an online application on LSAR.rescuegroups.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 1, 2024, 10:52 pm
