Story
Ace Is a 5 year old 65lb American Foxhound, he is great with children, other dogs, and adults. He is pretty well mannered on a leash, but when he does get distracted he responds well to medium leash corrections. Ace is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle, he is like a cat in terms of how gentle he is when he jumps up on the bed and stuff. He loves standing on his hind legs and walk/jumping for treats. He is UTD on all shots and is neutered. The cons; he has severe separation anxiety, he will run off on adventures, unless he gets hurt by another animal or caught by someone he will come back every time. With the separation anxiety he has destroyed my living room. We have been trying to crate train him for the last year and everything we try doesn't seem to work. This is not the way we want him to live, we cannot provide the attention that he needs. We are asking a $150 re-homing fee.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. KODA Koda loves laying in the sun, and being outside in the afternoons with her foster mom. She is exceptional at all basic commands, listens and responds well. She does need to be the only pet in the home. She does a controlled heel and would enjoy walks but will need to be on lead. She would greatly benefit from an owner who understands the German Shepherd breed. She is very strong weighing in at 67 lbs, and is six years old. Koda is available for adoption through LSAR.org. She is a gorgeous girl and would make a wonderful companion. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is 150.00 and includes three training sessions with our trainer so that Koda and her new family can get off on the right foot together!!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 8:38 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ranger is a young neutered male pittie/aussie cross. This combination makes him stubborn and smart at the same time. He is a very friendly guy - always happy to see you and up for a good time. He is good with other dogs, but his lack of social awareness can make him a little much for some dogs. Ranger has had some extensive training with our trainer in Missoula and has made great strides. He is going to require an active home and a family committed to giving him exercise and continuing his training so that he can be a good canine citizen. He is neutered and microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is 150.00 and his adopter will receive three free training sessions with one of our trainers if local or in Missoula or Kalispell or a trainer of your choice if you live elsewhere.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 8:38 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Maddie is a beautiful six year old spayed female GSD cross. She loves her humans and is trained and obedient. She does get along well with other dogs but does have a dominant personality so her people will need to make her understand that she does not need to be in charge or a protector because that is their job. Maddie is healthy, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. As stated before, she is dog friendly and tolerates cats. She is great on a leash, potty trained and knows basic commands. If you are looking for a loyal loving companion, please consider this deserving girl. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Archer has made an amazing transition from stray to city dog. He is sweet, gentle, and very mellow. Archer has great manners around the house—he uses a dog door, hardly barks, and doesn’t chew on anything but dog toys. He loves people, playing with other dogs, hiking, and snuggling in bed or on the couch (if that’s okay with you). He gets along well with indoor cats and is not skittish. Archer’s foster family is working on his obedience commands and recall. Although he currently needs a fenced yard, he is working toward being allowed off leash. Archer is around 2 years old and is a medium-sized dog and weighs about 53 lbs. He is being fostered in Missoula.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 8:38 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. That face belongs to one of LSAR’s recent rescue pups. James Dean, JD for short, is a super cool 1 year old neutered male. He weighs about 17 pounds and can jump like a champ. Beds, couches, baby gates, you name it. There is nothing that can keep this rebel in. He is not fond of being crated either, and will protest loudly. Luckily, he isn’t looking for mischief, he just wants to be where the action is, and where all the people are. He is good with other dogs, but true to his chi nature, he prefers people. His handsome face will melt your heart. He is wary of strangers, but super food motivated, so you will never be a stranger if you come with treats, especially cheese . If you are looking for that dog that thinks you are his whole world, JD is your man.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 8:38 am
