Story
Marmaduke is a sweet, loving, super chill St. Bernard, about 5 yrs old who came to us from a horrific hoarding situation. Marmaduke is a friendly and lazy dog who loves everyone he meets. He loves snuggling with his people and would be perfectly happy lounging around, getting belly rubs and being loved! He is a great sleeper and prefers to sleep on the floor next to his people. He has really missed having human connection so plan on him being by your side! He really thinks getting pets and hugs are the best! Marmaduke does require a fenced yard (no electric fences). He needs access to the outdoors where he can be contained in a safe environment where he won’t be able to wander off. He is not apartment appropriate as he weights 123 lbs and would certainly be over a weight limit! Marmaduke does love other dogs so a fur friend would be wonderful for him. He loves the company of other dogs so he’d love a friend to play with and snuggle. Marmaduke doesn’t know what toys belong to humans and what he’s allowed to play with. Toys are very new to him. Because of this, older kids who are not still playing with stuffed animals and toys would be fine for him. He’s a really sweet, loving, happy boy who has really acclimated well to being an inside, family dog! If you can provide Marmaduke the home with a fenced yard, lots of love and walks every now and then, please apply to meet him at www.luckychancerescue.com/adoption-aplication PLEASE NOTE: We do not do out of state adoptions. You must apply on our website if you'd like to meet Marmaduke. November 4, 2024, 1:05 pm

Story
Jazzy is a sweet 2 to 3 year-old shepherd mix weighing about 58 pounds. This lovable girl is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Jazzy thrives with a canine companion and enjoys playtime with her furry friends. She even gets along well with the cat in her foster home! When she’s not playing, she adores cuddling up with her people and giving hugs. If you need a walking buddy, want to play out in the yard, or just hang out inside, Jazzy will be perfect for you! Jazzy needs a fenced yard to keep her safe, as she has a tendency to run if not contained. She’s a very smart girl who knows some basic commands and is eager to learn more! Jazzy is great with the teens and adults in her foster home. She has not been introduced to toddlers but she is very gentle. We think she’d be fine with kids as long as they are respectful of dogs, their toys/bones and quiet space. Jazzy really is a special girl and would love to have a family to call her own! If you’re interested in meeting her, please apply to adopt at www.luckychancerescue.com/adoption-applicationNovember 4, 2024, 1:05 pm

Story
This has been one of the hardest decisions for me but one I know that is needed. After needing to take on an other job, it is not fair for Boots to keep his joy caged in :( Boots is a lively, ball of energy that brims with enthusiasm. His favorite activities include playing nonstop, whether it’s fetching his toys or chasing after his friends at the park. Boots adores booty scratches and can often be found leaning into them with pure delight. Daily walks are a highlight for him, giving him the perfect opportunity to explore his surroundings and burn off his endless energy. He recently found his love for swimming & sunbathing when the suns out! Boots spent 3 weeks an obedience school where he thrived earning new commands likes “sit”, “heal”, “place”, “gentle”, etc. Boots thrives on love and attention. Ideally a family or person with a large space for him to run and burn off energy. He does get along with other dogs; I would recommend ones his size so play time doesn’t get to rough.

Story
Daisy is a lively 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing in at 60 lbs, and she’s ready to fill your life with joy! This stunning girl is bursting with love and energy—she adores running, playing, and splashing in the water, making every day an adventure. Daisy has a big heart, but she would thrive in a home with children aged 14 and up. She’d also do well with another dog that’s okay with sharing, as she can be a bit protective of her favorite items, including food and the occasional sock! Daisy is crate trained, housebroken, and absolutely loves to cuddle after a fun day of play! Daily exercise is essential for Daisy, so she’ll need multiple walks each day to keep her happy and healthy. She also has a sensitive stomach, so a special diet of Turkey and Venison kibble will help keep her feeling her best. If you’re searching for a playful and affectionate companion who will bring endless joy and loyalty to your home, Daisy is the perfect match! Don’t miss out on the chance to welcome this delightful girl into your life! Please apply to meet her at https://luckychancerescue.com/adoption-applicationNovember 21, 2024, 12:15 am

Story
Meet Nixie, a wonderfully sweet 1 year old pup, looking for her forever family! Nixie adores her humans and enjoys playing with both cats and other dogs. While she can be a bit shy at first, especially around men, once she feels safe, she becomes your loyal shadow. If you’re searching for a dog who is playful and cuddly, Nixie is the perfect match! She will thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play. A dog friend would be great for Nixie, but she’d also be fine as an only dog if her humans are home often. She’s a gentle girl who loves kids and would be best suited for a family with children 5 years or older. She hasn’t been around toddlers, so we’re unsure if her energy might be too much for little ones. Nixie is ready to find her best friend for walks, nature adventures, and lots of snuggles. If you’re looking for a playful, cuddly girl to add to your family, Nixie may be the perfect fit. Apply to meet her at https://luckychancerescue.com/adoption-applicationNovember 21, 2024, 12:15 am
