Story
Meet Marley, a resilient and loving boy who embodies the spirit of survival! His story speaks to his strength; he was found in the rural areas of Arkansas, having endured a traumatic incident where he was shot in neck with the bullet existing his muzzle. Injured and in pain, Marley found the courage to approach people for help. After having surgery, he shows no lasting problems besides a cute snore when he sleeps. Sadly, he also has scars from being hit with shotgun pellets, so it’s understandable he’s terrified by gunshots. Marley is around two years old, weighs 50lb and probably is a lab and hound mix. He’s an extremely smart, happy boy with lots of character. He does the cutest head tilt and wrinkles his brow when figuring something out. Once you gain his trust, he becomes your best friend and the perfect snuggle buddy. He can be a sensitive soul who would do best in a quieter home with someone who works from home or home more than gone. He does require a house with a fenced-in yard and ideally another playful dog, his size or larger since he loves nothing more than a good game of chase and wrestling. Marley is very food motivated, highly intelligent, and a quick learner. As this bio is being written he know sit, lay, stay, shake, wave, spin, touch, target, go around, and bow. By the time you meet him he will have learned many more. He loves to pounce after a tennis balls and a good game of tug of war. He would be fine in a home with older, calm children with dog experienced. He does need a home with no cats or small dogs because he is so playful. If you are looking for a loyal snuggle buddy, who will brighten your life, Marley might be the perfect match. Adoption donation required. This covers altering, DAP series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, heartworm test (if over 8 months), monthly flea/heartworm prevention to date, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation. All SOAR dogs go through a ten-day quarantine period to ensure they are healthy, before being adopted. We do not operate on a first come first serve basis, but screen applicants in order to find the best fit for our adoptable dogs.

Story
Meet Darla – Your Future Best Friend! Darla has come a long way in just a few short months and is now ready to find her forever family! This sweet and spunky girl was once a shy, scared pup, but she's blossomed into a confident, outgoing companion who’s always ready for her next adventure. Darla is smart, agile, and loves to be the center of attention, especially when her people are giving her affection. She makes the cutest little happy grunts when she’s being loved on – it’s impossible not to smile! She’s a big fan of squeaky toys, chew bones, comfy beds, and, of course, treats. Walks and playtime are her favorite activities, and she absolutely adores her visits to doggie daycare, where she’s a perfect playmate for dogs of all sizes. Darla is energetic and spunky with the big dogs but gentle and sweet with her smaller friends. Darla would love to have a canine companion in her forever home to keep up with her playful nature and share in her adventures. She thrives in a routine and is crate trained and housebroken. Darla would do best in a home without cats or small animals, and she’s ready to be your loving, loyal sidekick. Story
Neba is 3 years old. I adopted Neba from her breeder who she was with for 3-4 months before I got her. I loved Neba from the moment I received her and quickly noticed she is a very loving dog. She loves fluffy things, walks, and eating. She has a sensitive stomach so I keep her on Cesars kibble and some Cesars soft food as well. I am a nursing student and work full time so Im not able to give Neba as much attention and I think she deserves so much better. She loves company and being loved on. She is house trained but she does need to be let out multiple times of the day because she’s frequent when it comes to pottying. I hate to see her leave but I cant give her the time and attention she needs so I’m really looking for someone to love and care on her. She comes with a huge crate if youd like it. Her toys, clippers, and some outfits. She is a bit anxious, scared of loud noises and doesn’t like to be left alone. You’ll love her!! I’ll review you app and contact by email!

Story
This amazing big boy needs a place to lay his head. Meet Mr. Eggerson Keaveny, the coolest guy around. He is looking for a foster or an adopter. Eggie is a very dark chocolate lab probably with some mastiff mixed in. He’s a four year old who weighs over 90lbs. He LOVES children and playing with toys. I trained him to walk on a Halti and taught him several tricks (his favorite is playing dead 😆). Eggie lives for belly rubs and talking to you, he’s adorably sassy 🐶❤️. Eggie’s new home should be active and with him more than gone. He would love a large family to himself with kids to play with him. He does require a six foot fenced in yard since this big boy can jump a lower one. He loves food and has learned tricks. As you can see from the pictures he’s fun to dress up and loves water. Eggie does have a prey drive so no cats or little animals please. He is crate and house trained.

Story
We acquired Riley from my mother-in-laws elderly friend. His date of birth is 4/3/17. The friend had gotten him as a playmate for her older Shih Tzu but ended up stressing the older dog out too much. We decided to take him and have had him for a couple years. We are not home enough and have gotten barking complaints from neighbors. He is crate trained and loves his crate but when our kids get home from school, they let him out, and seem to tune out the barking as we have a doggie door the dogs go in and out of. We feel he would be a better fit for someone that is home more and watchful.
