Story
A friend of mine found him abandoned at a dog park. She already had two dogs and she asked me if I would take him. I love dogs and they have been a part of most of my 67 years, but I didn’t want Bogey. I don’t say no well so I took him. I had to move and i couldn’t find a place that was good for a dog. There are other issues. Bogey is extremely energetic and needs lots of attention. I couldn’t provide the exercise and attention he needed. I still work and I’m not home much. He is at a kennel right now and the cost is an extreme problem. Based on his chip he is about three years old.

Story
Yoshi is a 15-month-old Labrador/Great Pyrenees mix (dob 11/30/23). His previous owners had to move unexpectedly and were unable to take him. Our son, who lived behind his owners, agreed to take him to try to find a home for him. He built a temporary fence in his yard, which Yoshi kept getting out of and Animal Control became involved because he was loose in town. Our son brought him to our place so we could keep him until we are able to rehome him. He is currently staying in a 16'x16' fenced pen. We walk him regularly on a leash. We have not had him in the house and are uncertain as to whether or not his previous owners let him in the house. He loves human touch and affection, I have yet to hear him bark. He was raised with cats and is guarded with his food when eating. To get your attention if you are not petting him he may put your hand or arm in his mouth, but he does not bite.

Story
Tallula is a sweet girl. She gives hugs, she’s talkative, she likes to relax by laying down on the back of the couch but more than anything she loves being outside. She would do really well with someone who has property for her to run freely but would do just as well with someone who could get out and take her on long walks. She loves the dog park, but when it comes to toys or treats can be possessive and has gotten into a few tiffs. She does not do well with young children, she’s never been aggressive towards a child doing their own thing but has nipped and children who have gotten in her space/ tried to sit next to her. She did well with the cats in our home but in general does not do well with small animals. She is a high energy dog and needs lots of activity. We’ve loved her so much but we know she needs more than we can offer and we hope to find her a home where she can run and play and will be loved.

Audie is a sweet pup, only 3 years old! Her previous owners surrendered her to the shelter due to changes in the home that no longer made their home suitable for Audie. Audie is so sweet and loving with humans of all kinds, but she can be weary of young dogs that want to be in her face and mess with her things. She does well with older dogs that allow her the personal space she needs. She has experience with children in the home and has done great! She has never had any issues with kiddos! However, a home without children would likely be a better fit for Audie so that she can relax and feel completely carefree in her new home. Meet Audie today by appointment only.

Jack Jack was found stranded on a busy highway with his sister and couldn’t be left behind. After bringing him into our home to heal him and give him safety, it was clear that he was special. Despite all he had obviously been through, he was trusting and sweet. He deserves a forever family!
