Story
Maveric is a sweetheart. He loves attention, he loves love and he loves to play. He is 4 years old but still acts like a puppy. He is compassionate and gentle. I had him as a emotional support dog. I got him when he was 8 weeks old. He does great if he feels that you are in a sad mood. I am so sad I have to part with him, but I am relocating to a different city. I am looking for a loving home for him, with a backyard so he can run and be free. He loves to be up under you and all in your personal space. He is also a good guard dog. He will alert you if he feels something is wrong until you confirm everything is okay. He loves to play and he also loves to chill out with you if that is what you prefer. He knows all the basic commands. I just want him in a good home with a good person, my heart would be content knowing he is good.

Story
Rocco is a 4 year old Rottweiler who we adopted from a breeder on a farm. Rocco loves pup cups, apple slices, cuddles, and chew toys! He is house broken, kennel trained, up-to-date on vaccines, and good with children. We have another dog who he gets along with, but he becomes reactive in public when he comes across other dogs. Rocco is a very anxious dog that requires an experienced owner. We have decided to seek out another home for him due to his behavioral concerns - specifically aggression. We have worked with a trainer since he was young that specializes in resource guarding/food aggression and have made good progress in understanding that his aggression stems from anxiety. We have worked closely with his veterinarian as well, who recommended anxiety medication that he takes daily. Rocco is a sweet, loving, loyal dog who would benefit from an owner with less stimulus than our household is able to offer. We will supply him with the resources he needs to adjust to a new loving home.

Story
I love my pup I really do. He was giving to me when he was one and my kiddos fell in love. He is such a big baby very laid back dog love his sleep thats the bull dog part..lol. But still have energy, Muscles love to play with his toys and love attention. The reason I am looking for him a great home is because my two older boys are going to college, my high schooler is working and I work myself and its just not fair to him. We all came to this decision and it was hard but this is best for him. I hope he gets a great loving home with lots of hugs an affection because thats what he loves.

Story
Millie is a sweet girl. I got her from a local rescue and she did make small improvements. I work and I believe she has separation anxiety. She doesn’t destroy things but she has started soiling in the house. Millie does not care for other dogs or cats. Unknown on children but in my experience she doesn’t destroy things well with adults. My belief is that she would do best with someone who is home most of the day and had a fenced yard. She will walk, sometimes pull on leash and does have anxiety outdoors especially if she sees another dog. Millie could be a super dog for someone who has the time and ability to provide her with a trainer or behavioralist. She is really sweet and obviously has experienced some trauma in her life. Millie does have panic attacks if crated.

**Think this dog might be for you? The first step is to complete an application: http://www.mominpinrescue.org/p/adoption-application_30.html We do not arrange transport for our dogs. If your application is approved, you will be required to come to us to pick up your dog.** Kenji was described by the shelter as a Boston Terrier, and we agree with that, but he seems taller and lankier than a Boston with those long legs! We think he could be part Boxer or a "Boxton." He weighs about 17 pounds and is about 3 years old. When we got him, he was heartworm-positive but has been treated and has tested heartworm-negative. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and on heartworm preventative. He is a very sweet dog, but would not do well with cats, or smaller dogs. He has not been tested with children. Kenji is located in St. Louis, and his adoption fee is $260.
