Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Lightning McQueen! This is your complete love bug wrapped up burrito style in a very handsome guy! LMQ LOVES his people and is fantastic with littles. Little foster girls are under 5 and they are besties. This good boi is great with other dogs; prefers the calmer furry friends. He has not been around cats but probably should steer clear from them as his prey drives suggests this. But, that is ok! Kids and dogs are a big deal. :) LMQ knows basic commands, eager to please and very food motivated. Edit to add, purses are not off limits when goodies are hiding in there. Conclusion is he is great at seek and find and likes the finer, organic kid treats. LOL! The young man is crate trained and potty trained. When left out he will leave your home as is and not disturb a thing unless it’s a tastey on the counter. But, I might steal a treat as well, especially if they smell good. An active family would be the very best scenario for LMQ. He loves attention as well as giving it. He does require a 6ft fence or responsible pet parent on the other end of a very long leased/leash. LMK is a dapper 1-2 year old love bug. hhpr.rescuegroups.org for the required application. $275 adoption feeVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 20, 2024, 8:43 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bender the defender! Call him Benny! This sweet boy desires a family so badly. He wants to be with you and be close. He wants to take walks and cuddle, play a little and cuddle more. Bender came from animal control due to being abandoned in an apartment. His one and only person fell ill, was taken from the apartment and Bender was left there. Alone. Abandoned. Two weeks was the estimated time. He came to us very overweight, needing some confidence and love with the recent trauma of being left.  He lives with some cats that keep away from him. His buddy is a one year old German shepherd. Bender is a calm canine companion looking for love.  He is willing to learn and listens well once settled. All he wants is his person to be there for and with him. Bender would very much appreciate some one on one time with someone that will love him forever. He truly is a best friend. If you can be the person we want to talk to you!! Bender wants to meet you. our have to pinky paw swear to love him as big as the sky. hhpr.rescuegroups.org for the required adoption applicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2024, 10:30 pm
