Story
It would be easy to feel sorry for Stan. He has some old injuries, including a limp and an embedded collar scar, that show us that he hasn't had it easy so far. But this guy is just so full of life. He shoots out of his kennel, despite his limp, to get outside as quickly as possible. This boy is strong and knows what he wants! He is trusting, curious and loving. He sits for a treat and really calms down after he gets his wiggles out. He patiently waited for me to finish my conversation in the office while he laid by my feet. I know someone out there has the patience, willingness and heart to help this boy live out his full potential and overcome his past. How can you say no to this face?

Story
Dan was brought to the shelter by someone who found him wandering alone. No one ever came to claim him. You would think that something like that would cause Dan to have some confidence issues, but not this guy. He doesn't look back. He's adventurous, curious, confident and strong. He is around 2 years old and is big at 61lbs. He is keeping his head up and his eyes on the horizon as he waits patiently for his new family to see his handsome face and fall in love. He would prefer a home with a yard and does just fine with kids. He loves his time out of his kennel and is looking forward to the day that he can patrol his own yard and leave the shelter in his rearview. If you think Dan would make a good addition to your home, come on down to Taney County Animal Control!
