Story
Kilo is an amazing companion and it saddens our family so much to have to rehome her. We have a 8 month old son and Kilo has shown us very clear signs that she is uncomfortable living with young children. I would love to explain more about Kilo and the wonderful furry friend she is to anyone interested. :)

Story
Layla is a super sweet girl who needs an active home. She is crate trained, potty trained and loves to snuggle and play. My parents do not have the energy or strength to handle her anymore and we are looking for someone who is able to exercise her and play with her. She is a great dog and will be excellent with kids and other dogs. I can't take her because I have a dog with his own special needs and don't feel they'd be a good fit.

Story
Our Lanky guy is house trained, crate trained, loves playing tug-of-war with ropes and his blue ring. He loves belly rubs and snuggles. While he okay with other dogs and cats he takes a bit to be fully comfortable. He’s enjoys kids that are old enough to play or give him attention but we are finding that babies steal too much of the attention he is used to having and that is causing the pain point for us. He does like to bark at animals outside but that can be controlled with treats/positive reinforcement. He does really well with training. He can do the basics: sit, lie down, stay, paw. He will also do a spin and he used to do roll over, but it’s been a while since we practiced that. We are sad to be rehoming, but with our baby, he continues to show jealously towards the attention she gets. Overall he is a sweet boy that wants a family to love, snuggle, play with, and go on walks with. Bonus: He is a perfect work-from-home ‘coworker’ he enjoy napping by you while you work.

Story
Hi, my name is Ozzy, but my friends call me Ozzy Bear, because I am big and cuddly. I was adopted from a local rescue in 2019 as a puppy. If you are looking for an oversized cuddle bug who will protect you and make you feel safe in your home, I’m your guy! When you meet me you will notice my gentle and loving demeanor right away. I love to be outside and will play fetch when i have the energy. My favorite thing to do is lay in the grass on a sunny day. When it's rainy outside, I would love to curl up on the couch with you and watch movies. I'm very food motivated and learn quickly. I'm also a graduate from "Got your 6" training in Jefferson City. I care a great deal about my family and I will watch for intruders all day. I even prevented a break in once when i saw people trying to break into our car. I love my fur brother, but in his old age he has become very grumpy with me. It scares me and I try to protect myself. I know I will be the perfect fit for the right family.

Story
Luna is about 4 years old. She is a great guard dog. She is very loyal and sweet. She loves attention. She is house and kennel trained. She was raised around other animals (dogs, cats, sheep, horse, cows, chickens). Great at chasing off coyotes, raccoons, opossums, etc. Hate to see her go. She never hurt any chickens, but she has gone after our guinea fowl.

Story
Ace is loyal, affectionate, and active. We got Ace from MO Wiggle Butts when my youngest was 3 and having big emotional outburts related to speech delay. Ace let him snuggle, rough-house, cry into his fur, and was endlessly patient and calm. He follows my husband and I from room to room so he can lay right at our feet, including under the dinner table. Ace is about 5, and he needs an owner(s) that can safely monitor his guard dog tendencies. He needs big walks and/or room to run. He is protective of his owners around strangers, particularly men, but when he is away from his family, for example boarding at the vet, he does just fine. We live on a corner lot on a very busy street where passersby have complained about Ace "patrolling" our fence line. Our kids also have a habit of leaving the front door wide open when they go out to play, and Ace has chased a couple of door-to-door salesmen down the street. It was scary, but he never hurt anyone. He is just trying to protect his family.
