Please read ALL of the information below including the last paragraph. Also, please visit our web site at www.petssecondchance.org. Must have a securly fenced yard. No electronic fences. No children under the age of 20 years. Eve would do best in a home with another friendly dog. Eve would like to grace you with her presence. She confidently holds her head up high to let you know how awesome she is. She is not wrong. Eve is an awesome little dog with lots of happiness to share. Eve loves toys and squeaks them until they do not squeak any longer. It isn’t just her toys that squeak. When it is meal time, Eve will squeak with delight in anticipation of her bowl of yummy food being served to her. Eve is great with other dogs and would enjoy sharing a home with another friendly playful dog. She is a very playful puppy who would love to live with you. Eve is house trained, or close. She is crate trained and chipped. She is spayed. A fenced yard is required. We do not adopt to homes with electronic fences. No exceptions. Eve needs a home with another friendly high energy playful dog. No young children. We only adopt in the Greater St. Louis area. Please email claireelizabeth@petssecondchance.org for more information.

Story
Erin will be adopted in the Greater St. Louis Area or the Greater Kansas City Area. We do not adopt to homes with small children. A fenced yard is required. No exceptions. Erin will need a calm experienced home. I’m Erin and I’m 5 years old. We don’t really know what my situation was before I was rescued, but my life is so much better now. I’m very timid until I know no one will hurt me. Be patient and I will become your best friend. Loud noises scare me so no yelling please. Men can be scary but if they talk quietly to me and let me come to them, they can be my friend. I haven’t been around small children. I love going on walks and I’m starting to figure out how much fun toys are. I get the zoomies and will race around for a few minutes then quiet down. I’m good friends with my foster cat brother. I am probably too energetic for small kittens or other small furry critters. My foster mom calls me a silly girl, but I’m just so excited to go for a walk that my whole body wiggles. I’m the true example of a wiggle butt. I’m still working on walking calmly. Sometimes I pull and try to wander from side to side because everything is interesting. I’m working on being friends with bigger dogs. If I can take my time getting to know the bigger dog, I will be ok being near them without getting upset. I’m crate trained and after a minute of barking, I’ll quiet down when I’m left alone. We believe that Erin is a Corgi/Cattle Dog mix. Please email claireelizabeth@petssecondchance.org for more information.

Story
Midge will be adopted only in the Greater St. Louis area. A securely fenced yard is required. Midge is a 16-month-old little girl with what can only be described as having an enthusiastic personality. Time to get up in the morning? Let's go! Time for breakfast? Awesome! Outside? Yeah!! Go to my crate? Yay! Everything is done with enthusiasm and joy. She's very affectionate, loves to play, cuddle, you name it. She's curious about the world - new smells, sights and sounds. They're all wonderful. And like any youngster, all that running around ends with an evening of being ready for bed. She curls up in a ball and sleeps like a log. She would probably like a friendly dog to play with, though if you're pretty active, she would likely do fine as an only dog, too. Her roomies here are two Basset Hounds and they're great together. Lots of roughhousing and barreling around the yard. Fun for them and fun for your viewing pleasure! Midge is house trained, crate trained, and comes when called (almost always). She is an adorable little ball of fluffy joy. Midge will be adopted only in the Greater St. Louis area. A securely fenced yard is required. No exceptions. No electric fences. No children under the age of 10 years old. The adoption fee is $350.00. Direct questions to claireelizabeth@petssecondchance.org. Check out our web site at www.petssecondchance.org for more information about Corgis and adoption.

Story
We did Brownie's DNA! He's about half cattle dog and the next biggest result was Boxer but he is mixed with many other breeds. Brownie is a sweet, energetic and spunky guy who had a rough start in life. He loves affection and is a good boy. He was found as a stray in Bonne Terre and got picked up by animal control, which is just a shed. We believe Brownie would do best in a more quiet home with older or no kids and an active owner that would spoil him and give him the life he deserves. Brownie will need a fence as he has a high prey drive and loves to chase the yard critters. If there are other dogs in the home they should be about his size or bigger. He loves to play with the other dogs. He has been introduced to the dog savvy catin the house and they get along okay.We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area.
