Story
I adopted Blue on 09/28/24 from the American Heart Walk event from the Humane Society of Southern Mississippi. She has been a great dog but is very rambunctious. I have young children and she is just too high energy for them. She is good about sniffing at the door to let me know she has to use the bathroom and sleeps in her kennel every night without making a sound. she is 7 months old and needs more attention than i can give her. She is loving and needs another dog to play with! I will be returning her to the Humane Society on January 8th if she has not found a new home.

Story
Wiggles is between 4-5 yrs old. My husband and I adopted from a neighbor. Wiggles was always getting out of the fence and running to the water in the area so we ended up adopted him. He bonded quickly with my husband, does wonderful with the grandchildren, and does great with the cats. He is potty pad trained, loves to play outside. Loves walks with the grandchildren. He is also a 92 lb dog with lab energy and pointer drive. He needs to stay busy or he will chew on things in the home, especially when he is left alone for too long. He has become too active for me, I have trouble physically keeping up with him but I would love to see him in a home that can keep up with him. I really don't want to have to surrender him to a shelter because I feel he would do well in a confined kennel. I would love to see him in a place with a lot of space and chances to be outside and expend his energy. Outside is his favorite place to be! (Except during thunderstorms or fireworks - they scare me.)

Story
Adopted him at 6 months been a good boy since. Potty trained will only use the bathroom outside unless you give him no other choice to use it in the house. Know pretty much all basic commands.(go,sit, down ,go get it, go potty, speak, etc) very smart dog but stubborn at times. And he like to talk back to you. He loves to be showed affection. Always wants to be in the same room as loved ones. He loves to play with rope toys (pulling and fetching). Learns new tricks very fast. He doesn't bark unless you tell him. I had to train him to bark.

Story
lillie is approximately a 6 year old border collie rescued from a kill shelter. she has depression, separation anxiety, past abuse, incontinence, and she is blind. i adopter her since she was going to be euthanized. i have experience with complicated animals/disabled ones. she is alot of work and maintenance and some days are better than others. she wears diapers but takes medication to help with her depression and incontinence. she has not been potty trained but is getting better. i am taking a new job on and can’t keep her no longer, i love her to death and she is sweet as can be but sometimes gets moody if you mess with her butt or put on diapers. she loves to speak if you play bark at her or talk to her in a baby voice and get her hyper, i have videos of her talking and howling back at me.

Story
Meet Ruth! This gorgeous girl is very expressive in her kennel and this energy does not abate once outside. Ruth knows sit, stay, lie down, and she loves the water!! At one year of age, this sweet gal needs just a tad of fine tuning to train out those puppy tendencies! Ruth is on the smaller size at only 35 pounds and heartworm negative. We don`t think this gal will last long and we certainly hope she won`t! She deserves to start her new journey SOON in the forever home of her dreams! Stop in and ask to meet her today!
