Bo is an AKC registered purebred golden retriever. He was born August 21, 2017 so he is currently 7 years old. He was an indoor dog living in town with our family for around 5 years. We would have to be careful to keep him on a chain or leash whenever outside as we were never able to teach him to stay. He was fine with our own smaller children, though years ago on two occasions two other children apparently got too smothering with him and his response was less than gentle. He was mostly house trained during the day but at night he could not be trusted to hold it until morning and we repeatedly found evidence of that. After some time he moved into the country to live at Grandpa and Grandma's house where he lives today in a large pen outside.

Beans is the sweetest boy and just wants to be your best friend. He's a little shy and timid at first but once he gets to know you he'll stick by your side. He does well with other dogs, after an introduction, kids, and is doing good with the cats in his foster home. He does great with the young puppy in his foster home, and is very tolerant. He loves to spend time outside lounging on the deck at his foster home. Beans doesn't like to be confined and because of that, he cannot be in a kennel or crate or locked in a room, he will rut with his nose and make it raw. He really is the sweetest boy and will be your best four legged friend.
