Story
I purchased Rio from a breeder when he was 10 weeks old. Rios 3 now. I now have a 16 month old and its too much for me. He can sit, lay, shake, roll over, give kisses, speak and stand. He has a ton energy and would be best with alot of space to run around. He would be perfect for a farm as he is a herding dog. He seeks ALOT of attention. Also the best home would be without younger kids. I was staying with my Mom in Rockford, but just recently moved with my dad in St. Cloud.

Story
Gunner is an adorable sable male GSD. Gunner lost his mom suddenly and needed a place to go, so we took him in. Gunner had a knee surgery previously, so he does walk a little funny, but that does not stop him from playing with his jolly balls! Gunner should be the only dog in the home at this point in his life. He is crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Experience needed for Gunnar, he’s a great dog, but needs a strong handler. If you are interested in learning more about Gunner, you can apply on our website www.skylarsscholarships.org (the application is listed under the “more” tab).

I'm an awesome girl. I'm fun loving and smile all the time. I am a master at fetch and know all about where to potty. ( outside and on puppy pads) I also get along great with other dogs. My foster family does not have any children so I can't speak about them. One thing, I am shy at first and need time to warm up to most people. I don't like to be rushed and will let you know when I need a break and when I am ready to know you. However, sometimes I love someone right away! I know what I like!! I really want to please and be part of the pack. I am also loyal. When I find my person, I stick to them. They are very important to me and I don't really like to be left alone. I don't use my kennel but will sleep in my gated room with some protests. I have a bit of wander lust and really want to explore outside. My foster mom makes sure I can't get out of the fence. Come and meet me. Let's see if I am your forever fur baby.  Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Buster! Buster is a very sweet Lab mix who came to us from the Lake Traverse Reservation—rez dogs truly are the best! He may have a bit of a mix in him, with a white chest and one white paw, but he definitely has that classic Lab personality: affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. He’s currently working on house training, crates well, and sleeps through the night. Buster has a great mix of energy and calm—he plays hard and then crashes for a good nap. In just a few days, he’s already learned “sit” and is eager to learn more. He loves toys, bones, and romping around with our resident Lab and Great Pyrenees. He hasn’t chewed anything he’s not supposed to and is learning not to jump on furniture (except when invited)or people. He gets along well with dog-savvy cats and other dogs. While he hasn’t been around kids here, we think he’d do well with them—though he might accidentally knock over little ones in his excitement. Buster would thrive with a doggy playmate but would also do great as a solo pup in an active home that can give him regular walks or runs. He’s a total velcro dog—he loves his humans and wants to be near them at all times. He comes when called and could be a great candidate for free-roaming in a yard with supervision. Buster is the perfect blend of sweet and a little derpy, and he’s ready to find a forever home where he can share his big heart and goofy lo Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Meet Temu, a spirited pup with a heart full of love! Rescued after being left tied to a pole, this energetic sweetheart is ready to find his forever home. Temu is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other house dogs and thrives at the dog park, making friends wherever he goes. When he’s not playing, he’s a champion cuddler who adores snuggling up with his people. This easy-going guy is house-trained and trustworthy enough to stay home alone unkenneled—no messes, no fuss! While he’s got plenty of energy to spare, he’s working on mastering “down” and calming his nervous excitement. Temu responds best to a confident, strong handler who can guide him gently but firmly—he’s a smart boy who’ll test the waters with softer types! With the right person by his side, this lovable pup will blossom into the perfect companion. Could that be you?
