Story
Leo came to me in November of 2023. He was 4 months old & had never touched grass. He is house trained. He knows how to sit & shake. Leo is extremely high energy. He does not do well with small children. He has bit while playing but still punctured the skin. We do have an older dog &Leo is rough when he plays. Our older dog is able to play rough some times but not a lot. Leo will walk on a chain but needs a pronged collar. He loves the lake & swimming but hates baths. He will thrive with someone that has room for him to run! He seems to do well with women more so than men for some reason, unknown to us. Leo is a Bullweiler & turned 1 year old on July 1st. While we are gone during the day, he is in the crate but most nights, sleeps with us.

Story
Are you ready to meet one of the most uncoordinated puppies ever? Meet Calvo, or “Cal” as his foster mom likes to call him. Cal is a 6mos old Shepherd mix. Cal was one of 4 puppies that we assume to have been dumped. This poor boy was the skinniest and the most scared but look at him now! Cal spends his days in a foster home playing with other dogs, sitting out in the yard getting some sun or having the best game of fetch (which he really loves). He has been to a couple of events and been wonderful. Even met a few kids and rolled over to get a belly rub and gave kisses. This little guy’s ears truly cannot decide if they want to be typical straight up shepherd ears or floppy. They have gone every which way you could think of! Cal is what we would call a velcro dog, meaning they want to be with their person all the time. He will follow you everywhere you go. Gotta pee? Perfect he’ll be there. Need a shower protector? He’s there. You will never be lonely again! Adopion fee is $150 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news!
