Story
Hi, my name is Neuf and I'm from Minnesota. From his foster: Neuf is a happy, spunky, energetic guy who loves squeaky toys, playing with other dogs, and zooming around the yard. He’s very smart and highly food-motivated, making him responsive to training—he’s already picking up basic obedience quickly. Neuf does great in his crate overnight and is fully potty trained, going right away when let out. Neuf can be a bit vocal at first when hearing new sounds or meeting new people, but he settles quickly and becomes friendly and affectionate with calm, patient introductions. He appears new to structured leash walking and may pull, dart, or bark at moving things, so he’ll need a patient adopter committed to continued leash training. With consistency, he has already shown impressive improvement. He does have some mild separation anxiety and prefers being near his humans—something we expect will continue to improve in a stable, forever home. Neuf is very playful and may nibble during excitement or greetings, which is not aggressive but does require redirection and ongoing training. Because of this, he would do best with adults or older children who understand dog boundaries. Neuf is good with other dogs but has been known to chase cats, so a cat-free home is recommended. With structure, patience, and love, Neuf has made incredible progress in a short time and will make a loyal, affectionate companion. He’s a sweet boy with so much love, snuggles, and tail wags to give. Neuf will come with two hours of private training sessions with one of our trainers to help set him and his new family up for success.

Story
A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by The Wilbur Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $150.00 will be applied during the contract process. Hi, my name is Laklyn and I am from Georgia! From her foster: This pretty little lady will warm your heart. She is a huge snuggler and loves lots of attention. She also is very goofy and a bit clumsy, but that just adds to her sweet and calm disposition. She LOVES to play with other dogs and has thrived at doggy daycare. She has separation anxiety in the crate and gets very anxious while in there, but is very well behaved when leaving her home alone with my other resident dog where she is free to roam the house. She knows how to sit, has good recall, and loves to chew on her toy bones or the occasional beef cheek roll. She is also a good walker and likes to walk in step with my resident dog. She is the sweetest dog and would love to be in a home with another dog (or two) and a yard to play in. From the Vet: Laklyn was evaluated at The BB Vet Center shortly after arrival, she has completed treatment for a mild eye infection. The main concern for her was we noted she has a tendency to stand on 3 legs instead of all 4. We took radiographs of the rear leg she holds up in the air and the veterinarian noted deformities/inflammation consistent with Panosteitis or "growing pains" commonly associated with the long bones in large breed dogs. She may hold up her leg from time to time, however she is regularly using the leg normally and is still a high energy happy girl!

Hi, my name is Shaggy and I am from Missouri! Meet Shaggy! 🐾 True to my name, I’m a lovable little goofball with a big personality! I’m always ready to make you laugh with my silly antics and happy energy. I’m doing really well with my potty pad training and getting better every day. I’m also a pretty routine-based pup already, which means I enjoy having a predictable schedule. One thing you should know about me: I really love my people. I’m not a fan of being alone and will happily follow you around as your loyal little shadow. Wherever you go, I’ll probably be right behind you! I love snuggling up close and would be thrilled to sleep in bed with you at night. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly companion who will stick by your side and keep you warm with cuddles, I might just be your perfect match.

Hi, my name is Scorpian and I am from Arkansas! Scorpion is ready to wiggle his way into your heart! This lively little guy is full of puppy energy and enthusiasm. He loves zoomies, toys, and wrestling with his foster dog brother. When he’s tired, though, he transforms into the sweetest cuddle buddy you could ask for. He’s improving every day with crate training and sleeps soundly through the night. Potty training is also going well—he’s a quick learner who wants to please. Scorpion would thrive with an active family who enjoys playtime, training, and lots of love. He’s smart, social, and so ready for his forever home.

Story
Meet Fig! Fig is an approximately 5-month-old puppy with a very important job title: professional snuggler. If you sit down, there’s a very good chance Fig will appear beside you (or on you) ready to clock in for cuddle duty. This sweet boy is already potty trained, does great spending chunks of time in his crate during the day, and is a smart, food-motivated pup who learns quickly—especially when snacks are involved. Training treats? Yes please. Kibble? Also yes please. Honestly, Fig believes food is a love language. Fig recently had his left front leg amputated, so he’s currently in recovery mode for the next couple of weeks. But don’t tell him he’s supposed to slow down—he’s already getting around impressively well and has embraced life as the cutest little tripod you’ve ever seen. Three legs just means 25% fewer muddy paws to clean and 100% of the puppy charm. He’s incredibly brave, resilient, and full of love, and he’s looking for a family who will appreciate his snuggles, cheer on his tripod zoomies, and keep the snack supply steady. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, slightly goofy best friend with an inspiring little hop, Fig might be your guy.
