Hi! My name is Amelie and I'm from Arkansas Hi ! My name is Amelie (A-mel-lee) and I am from Arkansas. My foster says the following about me: I am as SWEET as SWEET can be. I love attention, getting in your face, sitting beside you for pets, and I especially like sleeping beside you. I do not mind having a bath or getting my nails clipped (at least not too much), and I do not shed. She says I am pretty smart as I learned how to use her doggy door immediately; I know my name and come when called; I know how to sit and stay (a little shaky on the stay). I am not good on the leash but we are going to work on that. I also have a habit of jumping up on humans, which I am told is a big fat “off”—but sometimes I don’t listen. My favorite thing is going to dog parks because I love to run and get chased by other dogs and I just plain like exercise. My foster believes this is helping with my anxiety, therefore she takes me every single day. I also like being with my resident brother—he lets me play with him, sit on him and even lick him. I am not crate trained and do not like being in a crate; but when my foster goes to work, I have to be crated as my anxiety causes me to chew on things that I am not supposed to chew. She says it is important for me to be in a home with someone who works from home, or is retired as I do not like being alone. I guess this anxiety-thing may have something to do with my past. Amelie is a smart and athletic dog, and she has found ways to get out of a fenced in yard, seemingly by jumping the four foot barrier. She has great recall in these situations, but she enjoys seeing what's out there! Supervised outdoor time, or additional measures to keep her secure and safe. And finally, my foster says I have a lot of puppy in me and believes I will make a great companion as I get older. I guess this means she likes me J.

My favorite things are chasing balls, morning hugs with the humans, chewing on Benebones, and rough-housing with my foster brother. I’ve learned a few commands since I've been here and can’t wait to learn more. I may get a little vocal when I have to go in my crate, but I settle down quickly. I'd do best in a home with a patient family who can help me continue building my confidence. A dog sibling who can show me the ropes would be great, but I could also be happy as your one and only. Hi! My name is Fire, and I am from Arkansas! From her foster: Little baby Fire is truly the perfect puppy! Her favorite activities include cuddling on the couch with her people, getting the zoomies, climbing on anything she can, and playing with her toys! Although she loves her daily walk, Fire is a homebody at heart especially during these colder months! She loves playing with other pups and is very respectful to cats! She’s been sleeping with me in my bed and does great, but also does fantastic in a crate! She’s also been fantastic with potty training and has less and less messes everyday! She is very food motivated which also makes training easier! Fire hasn’t had a whole ton of experience with kids, but from the few short interactions she has had, I believe she would be just fine in a family!

Hi, my name is Aunt Daisy. I am from Georgia. From her foster: Aunt Daisy is a calm and gentle dog who is happiest lounging around the house with her people. She is the perfect blend of couch-potato cozy and occasional adventures. At home, Auntie is a dream. She is respectful of furniture and happy to stay off the couch if you prefer, though she will want to settle in nearby. She appears to be crate trained but has not needed it during her stay with us as she has behaved herself. One of her cutest quirks is her love of carrying toys around the house. Auntie would thrive in almost any family. She’s gentle with children, friendly with other dogs and cats. She doesn’t mind being handled, snuggled, bumped, or having her paws examined. Her sweet, steady temperament makes her a great fit for a busy household or a quiet one. From the Vet: I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. After heartworm treatment TBB will agree to cover 1 dental COHAT procedure + 1 round of medications and 1 recheck appointment associated with surgery as determined necessary by The BB Medical Team. This surgery should be scheduled by Aunt Daisy's adopters no sooner than 30-40 days after completion of her heartworm treatment and no later than 6 months post adoption.

Hi, my name is Samoa and I am from Georgia! From her foster: Samoa is an absolute sweetheart! She loves to cuddle and play with toys and pretty much do anything that gets her love and attention. She is rambunctious and curious and loves to investigate everything with a sniff, making us think she has some kind of hound (beagle or other) in her. She is incredibly smart and eager to learn - she’s already learned sit, down, and touch and potty training has been a breeze. She sleeps in her crate without issue and has minimal complaints spending time in it throughout the day - so long as you give her a treat, she is having a good time.
