His birthday is around June of 2020, a pandemic puppy! He came to rescue over two years ago with his deaf sister, Amara.. They had each other but didn't know that humans could communicate with them. Seeing the light bulb come on has been so fun! Angus knows " Come, Kennel Up, and Sit" but everything else, he reads from his foster mom's body language. Angus loves to play outside with his sister and smell all the smells. He loves to have toys so much that he'lloften race inside so he can gather up all the toys (especially from his sister's kennel before we notices) and hoard them in his kennel. He has a wonderful relationship with Amara, his sister. It would be nice if they were adopted them together but it's not required. We ask that he be the only other animal in the home, except for his sister, just because there's a learning curve for other animals about how to make their presence known so deaf dogs aren't "snuck up on". Angus does not have a mean bone in his body but he's a bit of a bull in a China shop kind of boy! He just likes to run fast and slide through his turns! A fenced in yard is required so Angus can be free to explore and smell all the smells. This boy will steal your heart the minute you meet him. He's always happy and greets you with a smile on his face. ##1971033##

Now he knows that his foster mom won't let anyone hurt him. We're going to list Cody's breed as a Shepherd mix but those who know about Reservation dogs of South Dakota would describe him as a "Dingo": red coat, longer nose, Amber eyes and a sweet demeanor. Cody is a really smart boy, with a birthday around March 21, 2022. He's potty trained, kennel trained and is happy to be around his people. He was born without back feet but one has a bit of a foot pad. (Prosthetics are unnecessary.) Harvey gets around just fine, if a little slower when he runs. It doesn't stop him from cuddling or playing with his dog friends! Harvey loves going on Sniff Walks and trying to sneak toys away from his dog friends. He is a pro at dog wrestling or just hanging out and cuddling. Harvey has an EXCELLENT recall and walks well off leash! Harvey is kennel trained and is a love bug. It`s kind of scary to make new friends when you`re a shy guy like me, but I sure try! I`m Ernie, a cute as can be, 7-year-old Chihuahua mix. I`m here at Animal Ark because, unfortunately, my owner became ill and couldn`t continue my care. I am used to living in a home with just the 2 of us, so I would do best as the only pet in my new home, without children. Once I get to know you, I want to be your lap companion and get all the attention you can give. I`m very smart and know lots of commands, plus I`m crate trained and housebroken. I will need some time to adjust to new surroundings so I`m looking for a patient owner who will work with me on getting comfortable.
