Story
Petunia is a puppy, born March 30th, 2024. She was born to a litter of 5 from our dog. She happened to be a final dog of the litter whom never found a home to stay. She was returned to us after 3 months claiming she was unfit. She is a sweet girl, loves to watch tv & snuggle. She gets the Zoomies to! She is mostly potty trained but may struggle a bit with home transition. Patience is much needed with this little girl. She now has 3 acres to run & play. She will need a fenced yard if in town, due to her husky genes. She is not spayed due to her age. This little can’t stay with us because we have 4 pups & a toddler. Petunia needs a clean home as she is known to chew on anything in sight. She loves our son’s toys a tad too much! We hope she can find her furever. Right now she is super shy when it comes to meeting new people. A home visit would be great to introduce her to you & your other pets smells (if necessary).

Story
AGE: Mature adult 10 years old - FemaleCHARACTERISTICS:good with dogs and older kids, mellow, very happyBREEDS: Good question! COAT LENGTH - mediumHi I am Sammy. They say I am a 10 year old dog but I don't believe them. I think I might only be 8 or maybe even 6 as I still have some good energy! I enjoy playing in the yard with my husky fursister. We play and play and play. I do like to be the alpha her but she is a husky and can outrun me!! My foster mom has a doggy door which is really nice as I can go outside any time I need to potty. See I was an outside dog all my life and I'm not catching on to not pottying wherever I want so I might have an accident in the house as I don't know any better. We are working on it but having a doggy door helps me as I can just run outside quick and take care of business. I enjoy hanging out wherever you are, by your feet while you watch TV, by your feet in the bathroom, under your feet while you cook, I will be there wherever you may go. My foster mom calls me her shadow. And watch out for my tail as it never stops wagging. I am always very happy to see people and will come right up to you to get lots of pets, I may even lay down and let you rub my belly!! Do you have another dog? I would really love to have another dog in the house. It helps keep me calm if you leave. I don't like to be alone. When you leave you can put me in my kennel and I will be very quiet as long as the other dog is there with me. I might be a candidate for just hanging out without a kennel, but not free roaming of the house......yet.So here is my list of requests - another dog to hang with and play with, a doggy door with a fenced in yard, somebody to pet me and rub my belly, and pet me and rub my belly some more. FROM THE FOSTER: Don't worry about dusting those low shelves, Sammy's tail will dust it for you as her tail never stops wagging. Also don't leave any food towards the front of the counters, it will disappear! I would definitely recommend a doggy door so she can go outside whenever she needs, This has almost eliminated accidents in the house. I have taken her to work and we had to take her outside alot or we had accidents. She loved everybody she met at the office and would right up to them to get petted.Oh and you ask what breed is Sammy? Well lets see, she has a beard so that could be German Wirehaired Pointer, or Airedale, or Schnauzer, or Bearded Collie, or Griffon. But her body has traits of a great dane, she has large paws, but she's not really tall, her coat is medium length and she does shed. SInce we are unsure of her breed, I call her a hotdish -- just an assortment of joy and love!!Good girl. Always lived as an outside dog. We are looking for a caring home for her. She's affectionate, likes people, lived with smaller children. Does not like catsWas an owner surrender.Adoption fee $250 plus tax____Please Note: We ask that an application be filled out before coming to the shelter. Missy 5 year old ChiweenieSpayedHouse trainedNice girl$250 plus taxLooking for a foster home or forever home for Missy! Here’s what her temporary foster has to say:Missy spent a day/night at my house. While my kitty didn't appreciate her, she was amazingly good. She didn't bark at anything on walks or noises from in the house. Loves to snuggle! She layed on the rug while I did dishes. She slept in a dog bed next to mine most of the night when I asked her to stay there.
