Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snoop is a 1-year-old neutered purebred, male Doberman, who was surrendered to UDR from the breeder with his two sisters. Snoop tends to be on the shy and timid side but his spirit shines through despite the challenges he has faced. Snoop is very loving with his foster mom and dad and embodies the playful and adventurous essence of puppyhood.  Beneath his lively exterior, Snoop reveals a vulnerability that only serves to deepen the connection with his caring companions. There are some men that do scare him so we can only venture at what his past may have experienced. Snoop will need a fully fenced yard as this boy can jump like a high stepping gazelle! Yes, Snoop can clear a 4-6 foot fence with ease. Snoop is fully vetted, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped and neutered! If you have room in your heart for a courageous soul in need of a understanding home, Snoop is ready to make a lasting impression on your life and be your loyal companion. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Kipper: 75 Pounds of Drama, Cuddles, and Loyalty Status: Available for Adoption Breed Mix: Doberman(ish) – DNA says 54% Doberman, 13% Great Pyrenees, 12% Labrador, and the rest is a delightful mystery Age: 4 years, 8 months (born Oct 2020, a Libra if you're into that) Current Mood: Slightly suspicious but very snuggly Eye Color: Brown, and yes, they're judging you Training: Knows more commands than your average toddler Fence: Required — he needs his own turf to patrol Good with: Adults who get him Not good with: Kids, cats, or drama from other dogs  Who is Kipper? Kipper is a house-trained, couch-hogging, treat-sniffing good boy with a serious work ethic when it comes to guarding his people and getting belly rubs. He’s part Doberman, part goofball, and 100% devoted to his humans — once he decides you're cool, you’re basically royalty. He doesn’t do crates anymore — he’s evolved. But don’t worry, he’s a trustworthy gentleman when left alone.  Vocal Talents: Kipper’s got opinions. You’ll know when the mail comes, when a leaf moves, or when he’s ready for some ear scratches. His bark says “stranger danger,” but his heart says “please cuddle me forever.” He also does this weird Wookiee-speak when he’s happy. It’s weird. It’s adorable. You’ll love it. Smarter Than Your Ex This dog knows a lot and has been schooled in proper obedience! He’s so food-motivated he’d probably learn how to file your taxes if kibble was involved. He LOVES training games and mental challenges. Hide his treats and watch the detective go to work. Agatha Christie wishes she had this nose. Let’s Get Physical Kipper needs daily workouts and a fenced yard. Prefers games of fetch in the yard, walks around the block, or trick training in the living room — he’s game.  Cuddle Monster Status: Expert If you have a couch and a heart, Kipper will be in both. He’s the kind of dog who believes personal space is a suggestion. He’s your emotional support shadow. Expect him to be your coffee buddy in the morning and your fuzzy blanket at night. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Stranger Danger Here’s the tea: Kipper does not welcome strangers with open paws. He thinks he’s a bouncer at the exclusive club that is your home. Barking, growling — he’ll do what it takes to keep the weirdos out (including your friends). BUT — and it’s a big but — if you introduce people calmly, on his terms, he’ll come around. Usually within 5–10 minutes, he’s trying to sit in their lap. His current humans are happy to demo the “Kipper Intro Protocol” (patent pending). Kipper’s Dream Home: No other pets, thank you very much. No kids — not because he’s mean, just because he’s overstimulated and slightly dramatic. A fenced yard, a comfy couch, lotsa treats and some squeaky toys. Humans who love training, walks, and working with a dog who’s a bit extra but totally worth it. Bonus points if you appreciate a dog who’s emotionally intelligent… and occasionally suspicious of anyone he deems as outsider to his royal circle. Kipper is: &#226&#156&#133 Cuddly &#226&#156&#133 Hilariously expressive-he has a lot to say when he talks &#226&#156&#133 Brilliant and eager to please &#226&#156&#133 Protective but lovable &#226&#157&#140 Not here for kids, cats, or dog park politics If you want a loyal best friend who’s got personality for days, impeccable house manners (potty trained, crate trained!), and a heart of gold (under a protective layer), Kipper just might be your guy. Apply now to adopt Kipper! He’s ready to patrol your home, love you fiercely, and possibly narrate your life with his dramatic vocals. www.uniteddobermanrescue.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Location: Lake Crystal, MN Howdy there!🤠 My name is Howdy which is super fitting, considering my adorable smile. No one can resist saying hi to me! I absolutely LOVE snuggling. I’m so content when I’m sitting in someone’s lap, being close to my people. I get along great with the human 5 year old and 1.5 year old that live in my foster house; as well as their 6 year old border collie. I’m figuring out potty training in my foster home, but catching on quick! Everyone that meets me loves me. I can’t wait to meet you! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Ivanhoe, MN Hello everyone, meet CLYDE! This handsome guy is the perfect gentleman! He is potty trained and kennel trained. He has only spent time in a large 10 x 10 kennel, so I don’t know he would be in a smaller kennel. He loves his toys and can usually be found chewing his benebone. He seems to like all the dogs he meets, however, he doesn’t like to share his toys. Although he loves his doggie friends, he really likes to spend time with his people. Running and retrieving the ball in a fenced yard is ideal. He does get the zoomies! He walks great on a leash and can hardly contain himself when he knows it’s time to go! He does get very excited if he sees others on his walk, so we are working on manners. He has seen cats and is a bit apprehensive at first, but then is curious about what they do. He gets along with the resident cat. In his previous home he had trouble with younger kids, so respectful kids 12 and up is best for him. He has had some training. He knows sit, down, off, stay (although that one is tough to do at times!). He will gladly trade kisses for butt scratches any chance he gets. Clyde is an all around great guy! If you want an exercise buddy and couch cuddler he is your man. Please meet this guy, you will not be disappointed. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Meet Tazzle (a.k.a. Taz)! Get ready to be dazzled by this 50 lb, 2½-year-old mixed breed who lives for adventure, fun, and being by your side. If you’re looking for a true ride-or-die, Taz is your guy! Taz is a sweet and affectionate social butterfly who loves people and is always up for an outing—whether it’s camping, hanging out at a brewery, or “helping” on a Home Depot run. He’s the perfect mix of adventure buddy and couch companion, equally happy hitting the trails or soaking up the sun in the backyard. He’s house-trained, sleeps well at night, and loves chew toys, sunbathing, and tug-of-war. Taz enjoys doggy friends (he especially loves playful females), but his enthusiastic zoomies aren’t always the best match for small kids or calmer pups. Because he thrives on companionship, Taz would do best with someone who’s home often or can bring him along for the fun. He’ll need an escape-proof crate when left alone—he’s clever! and like many young dogs, he’s still learning what’s okay to chew. With consistency and activity, he responds beautifully and continues to blossom. With the right match, Taz will be a loving, loyal, and joyful companion—ready for a lifetime of adventures, naps, and belly rubs. 🌟 Top 5 Reasons to Adopt Tazzle 🌟 Built-in Adventure Buddy – Loves hiking, camping, and tagging along anywhere you go. Cuddle King – Thinks your lap is the best seat in the house. Sunbathing Pro – Happiest soaking up rays in the backyard. Playtime Champ – Fetch, tug-of-war, chew toys, and zoomies galore! Story
Location: St Francis, MN Cool Whip is a whole dollop of sweetness! He was found wandering the reservation, looking for some friends. Whooper (as we call him) is all floof with a curly tail. He’s a playful puppy that loves balls and squeaky toys. He will need lots of toys around to help with his teething and nipping puppy behavior. He is great with other dogs and kids, but hasn’t been around cats. He’s very young and is very much your typical puppy. He is already going potty on pee pads (placed by the door) in the house. He’s working on being crate trained and is doing well with that goal. He does sing himself a sweet lullaby when he’s put in his crate at night. It only lasts a few minutes and he loves when you join in on his singing. When Whooper is done playing, he loves to curl up with you for a nap. He likes to go on car rides and help pick kids up from school. He loves spa day with warm water and sits perfectly for his mani/pedi. Cool Whip will be the perfect, sweet addition to any family. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
