Story
Ivan came to us five years ago as a rescue from Moscow Russia and has been an absolute joy to have in our family. He is obedient, docile, and the kindest sweetest soul. He is good with kids of all ages, he’s good with other animals of all kind. He has never had an accident in the house and will even say “I love you” for a treat. He is truly the best dog. It’s breaking our hearts to do this, but we lost our home to a fire and cannot care for him the way he needs. We hope to find a great family for him who will love him as much as we do.

Story
Meet Deniro! He`s happy, bouncy, and super wiggly. Deniro loves to play and is full of energy so he`d make a great companion for a hiker, runner, or just an admirer of the great outdoors. We think Deniro would be most happy in a quieter setting - he seems to be a little worried by the traffic here at the shelter. He could live with a well-matched dog friend with thoughtful introductions, but would be just as happy as your one and only. While Deniro has his playful side, he also gets SUPER snuggly once he`s gotten his activity needs met! Kids in the home should be able to participate in training and unphased by a bouncy pup and their goofy antics. If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by MSPCA Northeast Animal Shelter. We have open adoption hours 11:30am-5pm daily - no appointment or application needed. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat areas will remain open to walk through.

Story
***Sammie is currently in a loving foster home. If you are interested in meeting Sammie please email NEASfoster@mspca.org***Meet Sammie! She`s happy, bouncy, and super wiggly. Sammie loves to play and is full of energy so she`d make a great companion for a hiker, runner, or just an admirer of the great outdoors. She is also a smart cookie (...and appreciates all the cookies) who LOVES to learn and is doing really well with training at the shelter, so she`s looking for a family that is excited to continue her training. And even better - she`s spent time in a home where she worked on housebreaking and crate training! Sammie can jump and use her mouth when she`s excited or playing, so kids in the home should be able to participate in training and unphased by a bouncy pup and their goofy antics. Sammie would be most happy as your one and only canine companion - and could make dog friends after she has settled into her new home. Tiffany is a gentle soul with a sensitive nature. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s all fun, games, and cuddles! Her playful side shines through as she loves chasing toys and showing off her silly antics. Tiffany has done well with other dogs at the shelter and would likely be happy with a canine companion. As far as humans go, Tiffany could be okay with kids who understand her need for slow approaches and can participate in training. With patience and love, Tiffany becomes a loyal, joyful companion ready to bring smiles to your day! If you think Tiffany could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by MSPCA at Northeast Animal Shelter.
