Duchess is an 11 year-old female mixed breed. Duchess is a friendly old girl who still has a lot of pep in her step! She loves to get out for walks with her volunteer friends, and motors along like she’s half her age. She came to the shelter with her little buddy Jackie Boy, a pint sized Chihuahua, so we think she could live with a smaller dog, but she says no thanks to bigger dogs We would love to get this senior gal out of the shelter and into a quiet home as soon as possible so she can rest easy, so let’s share her info and get her adopted this week! Meet Tim! This cutie is a 1 year old bully breed mix. We won`t lie to you, Tim is A LOT of dog! He is big, he is strong, and he is still learning how to be a gentleman. This guy would heavily benefit from somebody with lots of energy to burn with him, and willing to bring him to some basic training classes. He has a blast running around our play yard and going on adventures with some of our volunteers.Tim would do best with dog-savvy teens+ due to his size, energy & mild lack of manners. If he was to live with a dog, it would have to be one his size & just as energetic, and patient due to him not taking the hint from our other dogs that he is being too much. We think it would be best he did not live with small animals such as cats or ones that live in enclosures.Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays).
