Story
Oscar is a 5 year old Wheaten terrier. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He has always been a bit nervous but he is very loving and good in the home. He is reactive and aggressive with other dogs. He can also be reactive to some people, though typically he loves people who are good with dogs. He is sweet and cuddly and a wonderful companion. He needs to be in a home with no other pets. He also is not good spending large amounts of time alone. He would do well with someone who lives a quiet life and is home a lot.

Story
Peggy is a 9 year old basset hound mix. She has a great personality and loves humans. She is a little iffy with other dogs especially dogs bigger than her. She is missing a hind leg but that does nothing to hinder her. Although she is about to turn 9 she has puppy energy and loves to play and run around. She is house trained and is extremely food motivated. She has had no health issues thus far. She is spayed and microchipped. I think she would do well in a home with mostly adults, she has not had experiences with babies or cats.

Story
MEET KYLE! - I am in a foster home, please make an appointment to meet me! Check Out His Video!*Kyle`s adoption fee is waived thanks to the Jeff`s Fund*Kyle`s story is a truly remarkable one - it demonstrates the resiliency of dogs who have overcome their past. Kyle was living mainly outdoors with several other dogs, and had likely never lived in a traditional home environment before his time in foster. He lost most of his fur to mange and tested positive for heartworm disease. Luckily, a dedicated foster stepped up to help him recover and give him some much needed R&R. Kyle is a friendly dude with everyone he meets from toddlers to construction workers & other visitors. He loves other dogs too but his true vibe is a couch potato. Kyle has recovered physically and is ready for a family to choose him as their canine companion so he can move onto the next chapter in his life! He would LOVE to have a yard as he thoroughly enjoys being outdoors. He will sunbathe till sunset and loves to roll around in the grass. Kyle would prefer a home where there are people home more often than not. He is very smart and is now crate trained and potty trained. Could use a refresher on his basic obedience but learns fast so that will be fun and easy to do! He will voice his opinions if he is left alone, so you may want to be careful if you live near noise-sensitive neighbors! If you can give this amazing boy the home he is looking for, please contact the shelter today!Kyle is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Kyle or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170.
