Luna is a 7 year-old black and white lab/terrier mix at a perfect medium 32 pounds. She is spayed, chipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines. Luna is an athletic dog who will impress you with how high she can jump with her short legs! She enjoys playing in her fenced-in yard, but also will snuggle up with you and her stuffed beer can for belly rubs at the end of the day. Luna is a loyal pup; although it takes her time to warm up to new people, once you have earned her trust she will love you forever. Luna’s owners rescued her from BCAA NJ in March 2018 and she has been a beloved member of the family since. Unfortunately, Luna now needs a new loving home without other pets or children. The unpredictability of a young toddler in her present home has proven too stressful for Luna. Her owners have made the very difficult and heartbreaking decision to find a home that better suits her needs. They are committed and willing to help with transport and transition to her new home.

Looking for a loving home for our 3 year old dog, Otis. We adopted Otis at 12 weeks from Rural Dogs Rescue in Washington, DC. For the first 2.5 years of his life, he adjusted very well to our family, which consisted of 2 teenage boys and an existing dog, 5 years older than he. Otis is energetic, food driven, and easily trainable. In the last few months he has lashed out at our older dog on several occasions that has raised some concerns about whether they can continue to coexist long term. Although we have tried various strategies, it would be best for us and Otis to find a new home where he can be the only dog. He is neutered, healthy, up-to-date on all of his shots, and chipped. Otis is extremely loving and affectionate with his people. He loves belly rubs and enjoys the outdoors. Otis is crate trained and lives in a house with a fenced in yard and has always had a mid-day dog walker.

Melo is almost 7 years old. We got him from the shelter when he was 3. He likes to run, he likes to chill on the sofa and he his great with other dogs and kids hence his name. Unfortunately our first dog is facing significant medical challenges and we cannot afford to have both dogs. We also haven’t been able to give him the time and attention we know he needs. He has no behavioral problems and is a very affectionate dog. Please help us rehome so we don’t have to surrender him.
