Story
Ted is my 5 year old netherland dwarf rabbit. We recently moved in with a cat and unfortunately my rabbit and the cat are not getting along. The most ideal home would be a quiet home without other pets or a home with a separate room away from other pets. Upon adoption he will come with hay and pellets.

Story
Stubbz would like to give you kisses!  He would like you to take him on an adventure!  Stubzz is ready to go!  Sweet boy Stubbz is a charismatic a Basset Hound / Lab mix with a zest for life - everyone who meets him LOVES him!   He is a perfect fusion of energy and sweetness, ready to charm his way into your heart and home!  This boy adores belly rubs and will roll over for anyone willing to spend some time giving him love. Stubbz is a happy guy, always up for an outing or adventure. Whether it's exploring new trails, visiting a local playground, or playing with his beloved toys, he's an ideal companion. Stubbz and his foster Mom have been working on perfecting his manners with a master trainer.  He has learned to walk nicely on a leash, sit, stay, place, jump in the car, and more.  He is perfectly housetrained. Stubbz is an absolute sweetheart. His strong yet gentle demeanor makes him a delightful cuddle buddy, especially after a fun filled day. He enjoys resting near his foster Mom, but at bedtime will normally walk unescorted into his open crate, fluff his blankets and go to sleep.   If you're looking for a companion who is loving and well behaved, Stubbz is the perfect match. His captivating smile and expressive eyes will surely brighten even the gloomiest of days.  Stubbz is about 3 years old - a perfect age to take home as he has mellowed out of his puppy ways and become a great companion in the home. Stubbz is waiting to bring his unique blend of energy and sweetness into your home. ##1786501##

Story
It’s Echo (Echo!), the hound so nice you’ll want to adopt her twice. This girl is a happy, loving, active, and playful coonhound mix that’s 2.5 years old and 55 pounds. She is all hound with her big floppy, velvet ears that will keep you coming back for more scritches.  Echo loves people and loves her foster parents. Hanging out with her family in the living room on her bed, playing with her toys and watching out the front door is where you’ll find her. She is easy going in the home, easy to care for, and easy to love. She has house manners and is fully potty trained. She is a shoe-hound and if you leave them out, she will carefully carry them to her bed.Echo was made for outdoor activities and is very social with people and other dogs who like to play and romp. Her dream is an active family that will take her on sniffing walks, hikes, and on doggy playdates or visits to the dog park on a regular basis. She would love to have a doggie sibling to romp with or regular visits to the park or playdates. If all this sounds fun, Echo is the girl for you. She wants to experience everything the world has to offer with her super sniffy nose! She’s generally easy to walk, but she’ll need some tight control when a *RABBIT!* enters her field of vision. She loves her foster family’s schedule of several walks per day plus regular doggy playdates and visits to the dog park. At home, Echo enjoys sitting on the deck, basking in the sun and watching the world go by - a fenced yard or other secure outdoor area would be ideal for her.   Come meet her at one of our adoption shows and you’ll get to see her in action! PAW will consider placement beyond our local area for Echo. ##2004631##

Story
Beautiful Nicky he has the happiest disposition a dog could have.  He just LOVES people.  He looks to the person walking him for guidance and reassurance.  He loves to go for a fun walk then come home and snuggle up with his human and get belly rubs.  He is SUPER smart and knows sit, wait, heel, and let's go.  He learns quickly and wants to please. He will quickly bond with his special human(s) and be easy to train.  Nicky is a mixed breed, probably with some Shepherd.  He isn't too large, a nice medium size.  He likes dogs but needs to be introduced properly to other dogs.  He is currently fostered and enjoys playing with his doggie sibling.  While he enjoys having a having a doggie friend we think he would also be fine as an only dog as long as he continues to get proper socialization.  He does have alot of energy so we think he would do best with a fenced yard.  He would be a great dog to take hiking or to play fetch in the back yard.  He LOVES to play with toys and will entertain himself pretty independently.  At his foster's he does very well in the crate at night and is housetrained.  Nicky had a hard early life - roaming the streets in South Carolina.  Happily he was found and taken to the shelter where he received great care.  During his wanderings he seems to have suffered an injury to his front leg, which luckily does not cause him pain.  Despite this tough beginning he still has faith that his special human will come along and give him the life he deserves. Nicky would make a great addition to any family.  Do you have room in your life for a sweet furry companion who just wants to be loved? PAW places animals in the Washington DC/Baltimore Metropolitan area only. ##2086907##

Story
Liam is looking for a human he can adore.  He is some kind of hound mix (maybe some Vizla, maybe some Pointer) but whatever the mix, it includes a pound of sweetness.  He is a velcro dog, following his foster around the house and always wanting to be around the humans.  If you want a dog who is snuggly and devoted, give Liam a try!  He will gaze at you with those amazing golden eyes and give you doggie kissses galore. He is about 2 years old and a very manageable 37 pounds.  He is small enough to do well in a townhouse, as long as he gets regular walks and outdoor time.  He loves goving for long walks with his foster and does not pull on the leash too much.  He is a hound so he loves sniffing and will enjoy walks or hikes in the woods.  He is interested in everything--smells, people (including little ones), dogs and other animals, and bicycles and scooters that pass.  He loves to be with other dogs and would be happy to be in a home with a dog sibling or would be fine as an only dog. His foster says he rides well in a car and is accustomed to being crated at night.  He is housetrained but will probably need a little refresher when he moves homes.   Don't you want some kisses from Liam?  Come meet him at one of our adoption shows! PAW places animals in the Washington DC/Baltimore metropolitan area only. ##2088005##
