I`m in a Foster Home! To meet me, email my foster parent at johnmacdowie@yahoo.comMeo! What a gorgeous gal we have here. She is a frisky, busy miss seeking an adventurous family to join and have a blast with. Meo adores hanging with people and she really LOVES getting exercise. If you need a dog to get you motivated and out of the house, well Meo is up for that job. FYI, Meo will do best as the only dog in your home, but she`s more than up to being the sole source of your affection, She also loves getting great meals (and she needs some as she arrived as a skinny stray) and oodles of love. Ready for a great new friend to go on long walks with? Meo is SUPER ready for you.Check out Meo`s video! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/nyE8WSXxNGU

I’m currently in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to schedule a time to meet with me, please contact my foster parent at jessicafdurand@gmail.comSilly, social boy looking for best friends! Looking to fill up your social calendar? Adopt Jimmy! Jimmy is a social butterfly who is happiest out and about meeting people or playing with dogs. Do you want a dog who will be your #1 sidekick? Adopt Jimmy! He loves going to coffee shops, restaurant patios, and breweries! And you don’t have to worry about Jimmy meeting other dogs while out, he politely greets them all no matter the shape or size. He’ll happily play and wrestle but takes cues if a dog is not interested. Do you want a dog that attracts a lot of attention on walks? Adopt Jimmy! He makes everyone smile and makes sure you stop to greet him with a happy tail wag and a good lean in. ** I am currently being housed at our Oglethorpe location. Come meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW, every day from 12pm-7pm. Or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more.Hendrix’s foster parent calls him a “dream” and a “sweet excitable velvet house hippo.” He’s dog-friendly, and loves to chew toys but isn’t destructive of household items. Hendrix (“Hendo” for short) loves tennis balls and playing with the resident dog in his foster home. He is strong on leash—getting excited by other dogs and squirrels but can be redirected. He’s comfortable with the typical noises of living in an apartment building. Once he gets some energy out, he’s happy to snooze at home while you do your work. He’s SO SOFT and will sit on your leg/lap to request pets. When he’s sleepy he becomes a big cuddle bug and wants to get under the covers with you. I`m in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to set up a time to meet with me, please email my foster parent at mhsg95@gmail.comMy name will ring a bell for many a literature fan and, just as for my literary namesake in Vladimir Nabokov`s novel, things were not always so easy for me. I found myself at the shelter one day with my doggie pal and couldn`t go back to my previous home. I have 5 years of life experience on my resume, so just enough to make a settled and loyal companion. I love people, am house trained and do just fine being at home by myself. I`m an enthusiastic walker (and can get a little too interested in those pesky squirrels). And I can also be particular when making new doggie friends. I would like to enter a wonderful new chapter of my life full of kisses, cuddles, and playtime! And by the way, while I am gentle with children, I would probably do best with school aged kids since I can get excited (overbearing) with giving kisses! And a nice volunteer recently said this about me: `My goodness!! How he no one snatched this sweet lady up already! She is sooooo polite with loose leash walks. Loves some fetch followed by cuddles! Oh and she gives the sweetest, happiest smiles whenever she sees you!`Yup, that sounds exactly like me! I can`t wait to meet you!

Story
I`m in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to schedule a time to meet with me, please contact my foster parent at aallshouse72@gmail.com. Gala is such a sweet, rambunctious, and adaptive pooch with so much personality — made all the more rewarding when you consider how she started out at the shelter: a very timid, fearful gal. She loves to go on walks —she sits at intersections! — and is perfectly houstrained. Gala is great on-leash outdoors around other dogs, but she can be reactive around other animals inside the home, so she would thrive in a home where she`s the only pet or has time to get to know the other four+ legged patrons of the abode. Gala loves to nibble on her toys. When she wants your attention, she`ll bring her toy and play footsie, holding your feet between her paws. It`s extremely cute. She clearly knows how to get your attention — but don`t be deceived! She`s capable of entertaining herself for hours should you put a plushy toy her way. She`s the perfect pooch if you want a spunky gal who`s equal parts a couch potato.Check out Gala`s video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdUq5QjnzaE

Story
I`m at HRA`s 1201 New York Ave locationMitch is a super cuddly guy! He loves meeting new people, playing fetch, and curling up on the couch after a walk. He greets everyone with the sweetest, happiest smile and loves to give kisses. Mitch is house trained and does well when home alone (he hasn’t been crated in his foster home). He can be a little nervous around new dogs, so he does best with slow introductions. He loves treats, but no chicken (he`s allergic). Mitch is brave in new situations and a quick learner which makes him the perfect adventure buddy. He still has some puppy energy and is looking for someone who can take him out on walks and work on his recall! After his adventures, he loves to take long naps and would love even more to snuggle with his person! Mitch is the loyalist of companions and is looking for a person to give all his love to. Mitch is such a great dog!!
