Story
Update from foster 1/17: Rhiannon is very sweet! Loves kids! Walks well on the leash and takes treats nicely! Loves car rides! CANNOT be around other animals, however, just wants to play ball in the back yard and lay on the couch! Sits! Stay! Lays! Meet beautiful Rhiannon. She was left at the vet's office by her owner who never came for her...she sustained an injury to her foot and a cut on her side (which has completely healed). She loves to play ball and loves all of her toys, especially carrying around and flipping her metal food bowl around. It's hilarious to watch her. No aggression with toys or food. She is very loving and playful. She will do best without other animals in the home. Rhiannon is just 2 years old and she has been spayed. She gets super excited when meeting new people but calms quickly. She is a smart girl and knows some commands. She is high energy and needs an experienced handler. She has been trained by Apple Jacks K9 in Charlotte Hall and her training classes go with her for the new owner to attend as part of her adoption fee. If interested, please fill out an application first at www.rescueangelssomd.com. WE ADOPT WITHIN 100 MILE RADIUS TO US ONLY. If listed, she is still available. All dogs receive vet care before adoption, including spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia 4DX snap test, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchip. Indoor homes only and we expect all dogs to be family members. Adoption fee applies and adoption application required.

Story
Oreo is a bit shy and insecure. He's sweet with people he's met but can take a while to warm up to people. Oreo does have some resource guarding, but we're working through that. Oreo came into the rescue with his brother Moco. Both have high prey drives and like to chase anything from bees to cars so they can not go to a home with small animals or children. Neither has had much as far as training goes, but both are pretty quick learners. They are crate trained, although they prefer not to be in them, the foster parent has left both in crates while at work and they do well. They both pull while on leash, but do well with gentle lead head collars. They have been on hikes and enjoy those! They love to be outdoors and to explore. They know sit, but do not stay very well. The foster has been working with both with basic manners, although we think they'd learn quicker in separate homes. They feed off each other, not in a good way. Most of us wish the dogs that come into our care could stay together, but sometimes it's better for the dogs to be separated in order to live a happier, healthier life. If these two where adopted together, adopter would need to be very experienced. Together or separate, they'll need some continued basic obedience training. With their physical and personality traits, we believe these boys are a Jack Russell, Corgi and Bully mix. We adopt within 100 miles of Waldorf, MD. If interested please fill out an adoption application www.rescueangelssomd.com. Story
Look at that smile! King is a very lovable boy who does well with older kids and other dogs. He is young and learning boundaries, as well as basic obedience, so he can be nippy and overpowering with young children. He needs a confident handler to teach him good manners. He loves to run around and play fetch but can also enjoy a good snuggle and belly rub. He is house broken and crate trained. We still need to neuter King which we are in the process of scheduling - he is a 1 year old black and tan German Shepherd Dog mix. He weighs approximately 66 pounds. King loves being the class clown. He is full of youthful energy and loves doing zoomies, but his favorite thing is flopping over at your feet for belly rubs and love. He enjoys a game of fetch, but after 5-10 minutes he's ready to chill out, go for a walk, or just hang out with you. King is young, so he'll need his new family to dedicate time to basic obedience and leash training. There's no doubt that once King settles into his new home, he will bring you joy each and every day with his silly personality. King is a fun boy who likes to play fetch with tennis balls and return to you to throw them again. He knows 'sit' and is very smart. King is a curious boy who constantly wags his tail. He is dog friendly. He likes pets and affection and will be a great family member as he has a lot of personality. For adoption applications please go to www.rescueangelssomd.com.

Kind Diesel is one of the most loving dogs on this earth. I am unable to care for him because I am 4 months pregnant and high risk. He was my big ole' lap dog. Very peaceful and kind. I never had him around other dogs. However, he loves people. He loves to cuddle and watch TV.
