Story
Zucchini is part of our Harvest Litter who came into care after a rough start battling an infection and mange. Zucchini has healed wonderfully, and she is doing great with her housebreaking and kennel training. She gets along very well with other dogs, cats and kids. Zucchini may have had a tough beginning, losing most of her fur to mange, but she’s blossomed into a loving, confident girl who’s growing stronger every day. Thoughtful and observant, she likes to take her time when exploring new things, but once she’s comfortable, her playful side shines through. She’s a quick study and took to kennel training right away. If you're looking for a pup who adores her people, and whose favourite place is cuddled up on warm lap, apply to meet Zucchini!

Story
Beryl is the goofiest boy looking for a home to call his very own. He was adopted as a puppy, but unfortunately it just wasn’t the right fit for him. When he came into care, he was pretty nervous meeting new people, but he’s been working hard on his confidence and greeting skills and is doing so much better. Beryl is fully kennel trained and never has accidents in the house. He’s still working on his leash manners, as he sometimes struggles with impulse control and some reactivity, but he’s already made huge improvements. He’s looking for a family who will continue working with him to help him keep getting better. He can struggle when meeting new dogs, but has been able to make friends with calm, neutral ones. While he’s still working on his relationship with other dogs, he’d prefer to be the only dog for now. He isn’t sure about cats and would prefer a home without them (they seem a little too fun to chase!) Kids can be a bit erratic for him, but with older children who can respect his boundaries, he’d likely do well with slow introductions. His ideal home would have children aged 12 and up. Beryl promises he’s the cuddliest boy, greeting his people every time they come home with a toy in his mouth and a wiggly butt. He’s great at letting you know when he wants butt scratches by backing right up into you. He’ll do his best to make his people proud and will happily shower them with love and kisses. With the people he loves, he’s a gentle giant who’s perfectly content spending his days lounging around the house and cuddling on the couch. If you’re looking for a goofy, chill dog, Beryl is ready to meet you.

Story
If sunshine could grow four legs and learn to wiggle its whole butt, it would look exactly like Vesta. This sweet girl is fully kennel trained, house trained, and walks nicely on leash (though she’s still polishing up those manners, she just gets so excited about adventures!) She does wonderfully with other dogs and with kids when introduced thoughtfully, but cats… well… they’re just a little too fascinating for her to live with. Vesta greets the world with pure goofy joy, ears up, eyes bright, tail doing helicopter spins, and her signature full-body wiggle that makes it impossible not to smile back. Her enthusiasm is contagious in the best way and turns even an ordinary morning into something special. She loves being near her people, whether that’s curling beside you on the couch or hanging out nearby on a dog bed like a perfect little lady. She’s polite, social, and endlessly affectionate, one of those dogs who loves with her whole heart and shows it every single day.

Details

Story
Meet Newman, a young, striking husky with a heart full of joy and a smile that could melt snow! This happy, social boy is always ready for adventure, whether it’s zooming around the yard, showing off his elegant prance, or collapsing for belly rubs after a good play session. Newman’s personality shines through in everything he does, from his curious nature to the way his tongue lolls out of his mouth like he’s laughing at life itself. Newman is fully kennel and house trained, and he sleeps soundly through the night without a peep. He’s actively working on his leash manners but walks are just so exciting, it’s hard not to pull! He’s an inquisitive, athletic pup who thrives with activity, structure, and affection. His favourite things in the world are praise and pets from his people, though chasing squeaky toys and crunching on a frozen kibble treat come in close behind. Newman is a friendly, forward dog who loves to meet new canine friends, though his playful “in-your-face” energy can be a bit much for some. He does best with confident female dogs of similar size and play style. He does require a home without cats (they’re far too tempting to chase). He hasn’t met kids yet, but with his youthful enthusiasm and love of attention, older children who understand boundaries could be a great fit once he’s learned to manage his excitement and puppy impulses. Newman is equal parts goofy and graceful, a loyal, loving companion who’s as ready for couch cuddles as he is for outdoor adventures. Don't let his cuddles confuse you, he is a true definition of a you husky!

Story
To see an eclipse is a unique thing, and I'm just as unique! I'm a smart girl, looking for a home that will understand my quirks and help me continue to work on myself, cause really who can actually say they are perfect? I can be nervous, especially with men. Treats help me trust because my stomach is definitely the way to my heart. I've taken a class and had a lot of fun, I feel like taking another training class with my new family would help set us up for success! I've worked really hard on my kennel training and I'm doing awesome with it and I've already aced my house training. My leash manners aren't perfect, but the world can be so big and scary so I prefer quiet walks. I love other dogs and even though I can be nervous, I love kids. I can be a little too interested in the couple of cats I have met and could potentially live with dog savvy cats with proper boundaries. I'll be over the moon when I find my forever family - is that you?
